Gargoyle as first spirit?

Hello everyone! I'm still fairly new to the site, as well as being a young witch, so I'd love some insight from more experienced Keepers!

I feel as though I have been approached and possibly selected by a Gargoyle. I have been considering the idea of a Gargoyle for a little while, as I am mostly a solitary witch, and I tend to get anxious and unsure of myself when practicing alone. I would absolutely love and adore a companion, and I think a Gargoyle would be the perfect match for me! For my intents and purposes, a protector and a companion is just what I need.

About being "selected." Maybe I am overthinking it, but I feel as though there is a Gargoyle who wants to work with me and has let it be known. I need help in bonding with him and learning more about him, and I think he revealed Creepy Hollows to me for that reason! I strongly believe he is male, but beyond that, I am unclear; however, I'm eager to learn and welcome him in! I was planning on binding him to myself, and I was also planning on getting him a handmade statue as a vessel (which I have reason to believe he may also have selected for himself). Honestly, I'm very excited, and I believe we will become very close companions! However, before I go through with this process, I wanted a little bit of feedback and insight. When it comes to stuff like this, should I just go with my gut instinct?

Much love and blessings!! <3

Your gut instinct, if you're not fooling yourself with flights of fantasy, is a great guide to follow. As for the binding process, you can still bond without it so just take your time to get to know him first (feel him out) and if you feel like he's a good match for you and you're ready then consider having him bound (If he agrees to it of course).

You can still purchase the statue for him if you'd like and keep it for him . Afterall, it's okay to allow him in your space if he isn't hurting anything.

Also just to mention this, there is services here and other places that you can get to have unbounds checked out for you if you're unsure about him.

So what leads you to believe he's a gargoyle? Did you see him or do you just have impressions about him? I'm just curious about your experience with him is all.

Gargoyles are awesome and take their job very seriously. I have one and I love him to bits. Yes if you get called by one just follow your gut instinct.

Gargoyles are great. They are pretty "nose to the grindstone" but have a lot of wisdom.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I’ve went ahead and ordered the statue for him!

I believe he is a Gargoyle, because he made himself known once I began to think about getting a companion to watch over my sacred space so that I do not have to practice in solitude and insecurity. I think he really wishes to help me in this regard! While I haven’t seen him yet, I have been feeling a strong presence and I think my cat Hallie has seen him. I noticed her fixated on the same presence I felt! She would not stop staring, even when I kept petting her. Hallie is very skittish, so she did seem a little wary, but she was not afraid. With time though, I think she will be less wary. She is always like this when it comes to new things. My other cat, Zelda, may have seen him too. She’s very lax, and seemed content around his presence.

I am eager to learn more about him before going through with the binding process (only if he wishes it, of course!), but he has been visiting me throughout the day to let himself be known. Truthfully, I am very honored and happy!

I'm not sure if that was a pun but if it was, you got a brief chuckle from me :P

What kind of magic do you practice?

Although I’m still fairly new, I am predominately a white witch, but I am also very interested in green magic and grey magic! There’s still so much for me to learn and explore, and I’m ecstatic!! :)

He’s been around a lot today. It’s been a busy and emotional day, yet he’s been quick to come when I call out to him. He has a very comforting presence :) He’s a total sweetheart, although I think he may be a bit cross with me for not sleeping enough this week, haha! I think he takes protecting very seriously, which I appreciate!

Also, if anyone has any tips on how I can better communictate with him, please let me know!

I eat pb&j with him and sometimes look at pictures of gargoyles statues with him. If you browse the gargoyle section of the forum you'll see that gargoyles are totally smitten with peanut butter :) mine is not crazy about it but does enjoy it very much. He also has a lot of interesting things to say about the pictures xD
