how would one go about new interactions with immortals.

So basically a couple of months ago I decided I wanted learn magic and Gravitated towards the runes. Primarily cause I'm very war like and Hyper goal oriented and the culture that surrounded them attracts me as well.

I was raised catholic/ Christian,
After some time recently I have begun to feel a Christian lifestyle just isn't very in alignment with myself.( I didn't live one to begin with )

Awhile after that I got an urge to I interact with Odin.( though Tyr was considered)
It was after this that I really started to investigate, and I have gained an admiration for pdins "Archetype" as some call it or qualities, probably because they are what I also aim for.

I'm really curious about what methods would be ideal for starting something like this. I have read on another post here that he is not recommended for beginners.

Really trying not to involve myself in something I can't handle.
