Etsy, eBay, & Anywhere Else - CH Does NOT Share Our Work Outside Of Our Site

No one with CH has absolutely any affiliation with any Etsy, eBay, or online social media seller in terms of providing our training or our proprietary methods to anyone outside of CH.

Let me provide some clarity to the following post, because it seems the message is being lost, and people are decrying this post as some sort of humble-bragging or distortion of what the purpose of the post is, which is sellers/shops using CH material as their own to a degree that Etsy customers write into our helpdesk asking questions about their items, believing they have purchased something affiliated or associated with CH.

I will say, there is no shame in myself or Ash being proud of this community or our work, and it has been community-driven from the beginning. It's not humble-bragging, it's being proud of what we've done and wanting the integrity and positive power behind it to thrive, and not be corrupted by misuse. We aren't grandstanders, we are worried about the theft of material and theft of work, and those terms who've now entered the typical language of terminology becoming associated with bad experiences and negative intentions. We have defended the whole path of "Spirit Keeping" the same way - continually misunderstood by those who don't take the time to learn what it means, and is - which is something completely and totally different than the spirit conjuring in frequently quoted recorded history, but that's another topic.

We want to preserve the integrity of the words and what they mean. When someone copies the words and the text from us or any other reputable shop/seller, and either misrepresents the origin or doesn't even provide what the words are meant to describe, then it dissolves that integrity.

All of that said, this post is about making it clear we are not involved in any Etsy, eBay, Bonanza, Insta, TikTok, or any other shop. And, certainly no shop or practitioner should be using our content or materials to a point that people write into us believing they have purchased something related to us. This is a distinction that is important, because when you use the terms "Master Vessel", "Bridging", "Reverse Adoption", etc. and those people have read the material provided to them by the shop or conjurer, and then are led to write to us for instructions, information, or support related to those items because what was provided draws a parallel to us, that's a problem.

We do not want to be held responsible for the behavior, actions, or work of other shops. We have always promoted a community atmosphere and openly advertised for other shops on our own website, so this isn't an issue with legitimate shops. The issue is this - there is content being provided, copied & pasted, etc. that brings Etsy customers to our helpdesk for support with their items bought on Etsy, believing they are related to us.

Granted, it's been over 20 years and much of the terminology we have created is now considered just "general" language used and open source. That's understood, though it should be noted there are times when this isn't a sense of usage as in community-usage in a positive sense, it is a theft of download instructions or listing information, or when someone just obliterates the CH logo from the PDF or letterhead and claims it all as their own. Or, worse, a marketplace/social shop tells someone they were trained or apprenticed with CH and we get an email when that shop disappears or stops answering their customer.

I don't make a lot of posts like this, only when there is a serious problem that is apparent or brewing, and we do defend our work because it's important to us and it means something to us, and we believe in the integrity of work and the integrity of the whole community.

We can't be the only reputable shops experiencing this phenomena, and I know we aren't the only reputable shops having listings or content copied & pasted, that is an issue I know other sellers lament, and I don't begrudge them the opportunity to stand up against the issue.


As usual, Etsy, eBay, Insta, TikTok, etc. sellers continue to use our naming standards to sell their bindings and services on the respective platforms. Since we have had an unusually high volume of tickets associated with Etsy, this had to be addressed.

There seems to be a mistaken assumption that we have something to do with Etsy sellers, we do not. Our work is continually stolen in every conceivable way.

If you are buying from Etsy sellers, you are not buying from us. We only have 1 shop and that is right on this website. If you buy something from a seller on Etsy that has a name of work associated with CH, it is not our work.

This has continually caused confusion and issues for us as Etsy and online sellers refuse to use their own naming standards for their own developed work.

If you buy a Master Vessel on Etsy, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with CH and our techniques or services associated with our Master Vessel creation. It's very clear why they are using our wording and our terms, because it affords them our 25 years of documentation and reputation on our work. However, it is not our work.

If you purchase anything from Etsy or any social outlet it has nothing to do with us. We haven't trained nor apprenticed anyone on any online marketplace. We haven't sold or shared any proprietary information with any Etsy or social media seller. If they are using our naming standards it is specifically to take valor from our hard work over countless hours.

This ground-swell of sellers on Etsy using our work is unbelievable. We may have to start a list of Etsy sellers stealing our work like we've had to do in the past; at the least.

There are 2 living people on Earth who know the proprietary information associated with the para-technology we develop here at CH and that is myself and Ash. No one else.

We have NEVER provided anyone outside of CH the techniques, training, or information on bindings and services like (for a short sample list):

Master Vessel
Bridging
Reverse Adoption
Master Services
Cycle Services
Alchemus Bindings

Or, using our terminology to define our meticulous work with defining Class levels and energy.

This isn't even to mention the countless hours we've spent in discovery, naming, defining, and charting information related to the species/races we've identified associated with the 3 Realms. It has gotten so bad that we're completely ripped off on our hard work that we've had to add an icon to the listings to make it specific that their origin identification information originates with us.

I could go on and on, but the point of this was to make it known that if you are buying from any shop other than the CH shop, it's not CH, not affiliated with CH, not supporting CH, or any way aligned with our work and our integrity and values.

We live and breathe this. We were doing this when the site was just information/reference only and when we just had a small chat room and encyclopedia. Granted, anyone can see the work we've done and make contact on their own, that's understandable, we've shared the information. However, it's quite another thing to copy our wording and information almost word-for-word, or to claim they are the discovering party.

It's just such a tragedy in a lot of ways. People who are new to this think there is some connection, and there isn't. With the horrible economy we've had to really struggle to keep things going and we've had to scale down a lot over the last 3-4 years now, with 2026 already proving to be a terrible year.

And, now there is obviously a growing misconception that buying something that has the same name as something on CH on Etsy is still connected to us or supporting our work, and it's not. Over the past 3 months we've had numerous tickets asking us questions about how to appropriately use things that originated on CH but are now for sale on Etsy under our naming standards. It has nothing to do with us, and I feel terrible because we cannot advise them. I have no idea what the backstory is with these sellers, and there's no way to give them advice or insight when the seller is not answering or gone. Apparently, most Etsy sellers identified in this stop answering questions from buyers, or never answer at all.

The couple of emails from the last few days were the last straw before this post. While these sellers are using our terminology, it has nothing to do with CH.

I never have been an Etsy shopper, especially rarely if ever for magick or spirits. So this is knew and very sad to read info to me Magnolia.

Picking my shops for customs and all, I can count on my one hand, when it's comes to practisoners.

Luckily, I have grew my inventory over the last 6 years so much that I don't need to look for others shops other then my regulars 3 practisoners, due to the size of my keep.

I do feel your pain and it's completely valid for you to voice this issue. I wish I would have a solution to offer ... but only this I can.

I know we are not the only reputable shops/practitioners this has happened to and continues to happen to. I do just want to say that not all shops/practitioners have a venue like this Forum to defend themselves and stand up for themselves, so I hope they won't mind my saying that I understand the confusion, frustration, and pain these situations of being copied/pasted and ripped off can cause and for them to remember that each of their hard and genuine works are appreciated and is meaningful for the community

I had seen something on Etsy once referencing CH and had sent it into you awhile back. I was shocked to see it, and it sickened me also. I honestly don’t understand people anymore.

I am fully behind you and Ash, and everyone at CH, and support you as much as I can (sometimes a bit more than I should )

I agree, a list would be good to have. I only work with a couple of others that I trust besides you; it’s difficult to automatically trust (although that’s also a good thing.)

I'd like to echo what others have said - goes for me too. I'm also shocked and also greatly respect and admire what you, Magnolia, and ASH have done. Your work has made a huge difference to my life path. I value it immensely and deplore the actions of those who would devalue it and benefit from what they haven't done themselves. That almost goes without saying...but of course it does need saying.

There's a definite sense for me of not being able to trust people online much, if at all, nowadays - probably far greater now than at any time since the World Wide Web was created. But maybe that's partly my age showing there.

Dream08 - I know, and I am really grateful you let us know about it. And, I appreciate your love and positive waves, they mean a lot Because, we don't peruse other sites or marketplaces unless someone reports a problem. It's been growing over time with the claims we trained someone, or we gave them our work to use on their behalf, or even the audacity that it's all their original material when it's on a PDF file with our iconic letterhead background and word-for-word text. All of that has been a pain to deal with on its own. The speed at which this has escalated over the last few months is really concerning.

We love our work, we always have, and its integrity means something to us. We love researching, experimenting, and putting in a lot of time and energy into exploring new facets of the supernatural - especially bringing the ancient to the present (we are working on both classes and tangible bindings that will hopefully launch later this year!). It's just deflating when we work really hard for a lot of months to bring something to the community and then, within a week, it's on the marketplaces like Etsy and eBay and it's like how is that possible? It's even more questionable when it's sellers who've said unkind and derogatory things about us to their customers, but have no qualms or problems taking our work for themselves. That's why, as mentioned in another thread, we're examining ways to keep any new work, especially important work, to those who have a real interest in this path and a real interest in genuine community support and learning. That way, the information still gets to those who really care and have a genuine interest, and keeps it less accessible to those who are merely using it for theft.

It's possible because they are scammers who don't have integrity. In this time and age, integrity is something that is hard to find, and money is something that a lot of people want and use any means to get, even if it means stooping to lowly tactics. It is truly sad that it is like this. No one simply takes a day to find out and discover the information and method required to bring what authentic sellers bring to the community, unless they are stealing and not doing the proper work that is required of a practitioner that does things the right, and may I also add, safe way for customers. Do what you have to in order to preserve your works, those who truly care will support you.
