Now the Asian Djinn (Long), is listed as a djinn, but also listed as a dragon, so I guess I'd like to know is how would one go about being respectful to a spirit that may be listed as two different things?
Lol, just be respectful (towards any being). An Asian Djinn is a Dragon with the abilities of a Djinn.
Maybe also follow the recommendations from the conjurer?

I have Djinn from only one conjurer and they specify how to interact, eg how to make it clear to that particular Djinn that you're making a wish, as opposed to talking to them about your life etc. And there was a brief formalised welcoming ritual.

I can't be sure (as I'm very much still learning) but I think it varies from one type of Djinn to another as to what their own expectations might be of how their keeper should behave. But once the contract / agreement is in place between the conjurer and the conjured spirit I think the spirit may expect the keeper to follow the directions the conjurer gives.

Don’t be scared. This island is full of noises, strange sounds and sweet melodies that make you feel good and don’t hurt anyone. Sometimes I hear a thousand twanging instruments hum at my ears, and sometimes voices that send me back to sleep even if I had just woken up—and then I dreamed of clouds opening up and dropping such riches on me that when I woke up, I cried because I wanted to dream again. This is great, thank you very much for this. So far they grant majority of my wishes most especially if it is about protecting others and making things better. :)
