We should review one type of communication at a time. Before we start though, why don't a few of you post questions you'd like answers to so we can discuss the pertinence of your questions to different types of communication.

how can new members particularly avoid some pitfalls that might ruin their collective spirit keeping experience in the beginning? what if they can't hear, see, sense or feel their spirits, can they still begin?

Don't have any questions at the moment but I am ready to learn from the people who do have questions, etc.

One thing I`d love to know what would be the best way to ensure accurate pendulum communication ... mine is quite off very often ... And I do shield and do everything suggested and needed to make sure all goes well and my pendulum is programmed and I even have communication spells copied on it ...

Just observing.

There are times when I think I'm just crazy or perhaps it's all-in-my-mind. Seriously, how do I get over this?

I would say that all new keepers need to go into spirit keeping without preconceived notions. Remain open minded and let the experiences happen instead of forcing them. When I first started keeping I did the "little friend in the looking glass" chant and it never worked which discouraged me. Also, don't rely to heavily on answers a pendulum gives.
