The spells we write for ourselves are among the most powerful we will ever cast or work with. Fine tuning spells if the initial draft does not give us the power or results we expected, can be tricky.
To start:
Be in a comfortable area & in a relaxed state of mind. Have several pieces of paper & chosen writing utensil ready (with at least one back up writing utensil at arm's reach).
Have the topic you want to write a spell for in mind before you begin. Whether it be psychic power, astral travel, dreams, love, wealth, luck, family, etc. Focus & concentrate on that topic before you begin, that way the words that will come to you are specifically for the spell you want to write.
To write:
On the first sheet write down all the words and/or phrases that come into your mind. When you feel you have expressed all the words you feel on paper, then take a fresh sheet of paper and begin forming your words into short sentences that string your words together in the way that feels right to you.
Some people prefer to skip the first part & just dive right into writing a spell. For those who like to write poetry, you'll find that writing spells comes easily to you. They are very similar. Some people prefer to rhyme, I do not, I think it makes it too difficult to pick words that feel right in lieu of picking words that rhyme. However, that choice is up to you.
Once you have finished your first draft, you have to give your spell at least 3 tries in consecutive order to see if the energy feels right to you. You will know by the third time you recite the spell if the energy of the spell you've written resonates with you on a good level.
If it does not, then you will want to tweak the spell by replacing words. This is the part that becomes tricky. ONLY MAKE ONE CHANGE AT A TIME! Do not change more than one word with each version. Make one word change, say the spell again 3 times, and see HOW that word changed the energy. Did it make it better, or worse? Does it feel more right, or more connected to you? Sometimes the change of one word can make the spell right & make it feel like the "true" version of what you were trying to say.
If not, then make another word change, one at a time & test it until you feel you've reached it.
Worst case scenario, you might consider moving whole sentences around, but only does this as a last resort, as often times the spell will come to you in nearly perfect, if not perfect the first time, form.
