HOW DARK IS TOO DARK FOR ME?

Personally, I say listen to your gut. I usually regret ignoring mine, so I go with it when choosing a spirit. Im one of those cheerful, helpful, people that is always smiling and sees the sliver lining and glass half full and wears rose colored glasses.

I am an incurable optimist, I just am. That being said, I am mostly attracted to dark arts spirits. When I wanted an angel, I went straight for the Gregori Watcher. When I was looking for mermen, it was the sandwalker merman that spoke to me. And pegasus, I went for a dark pegasus. Can you see the theme here? LOL.

Most of the light art spirits I have are ones that sought me out. Im usually drawn to the dark and naughty ones. I dont fight it. I do however ask for customer conjures most of the time so whichever dark arts spirit I am looking for, matches my energy. So far nothing has been overwhelming for me. I will rarely bring home a spirit that is posted on the website unless I really feel it calling me, especially if its dark arts.

All in all, be led by your gut and intuition, and I highly recommend a customer conjure. You may have all white arts, and love the feeling of being surrounded by all that light, but hey, If you feel a big badass dark spirit calling and you just cant get it off your mind, definately look into it. There's probably a reaon its reaching out.

FIRST THING'S FIRST THOUGH, REMEMBER THAT DARK ARTS & BLACK ARTS AREN'T THE SAME. DARK ARTS = FREE WILL, BLACK ARTS = NO FREE WILL.

HERE ON CH WE ONLY DEAL IN THE DARK ARTS. SO THEN YOU STILL HAVE THE QUESTION HOW DARK SHOULD YOU GO?

IF YOU'RE NOT SOMEONE WHO NATURALLY HAS A DARK SENSE OF HUMOR, OR YOU TEND TO GRAVITATE TOWARDS DARKER SIDES OF THINGS WITH MUSIC, MOVIES, ACTIVITIES, & SUCH THEN YOU DON'T WANT TO DIVE INTO A HARPY COMPANION RIGHT OFF THE BAT. YOU WANT TO STICK WITH YOUR DA COMPANIONS ON THE LIGHTER SIDE LIKE GARGOYLES, DARK PHOENIX, PSY VAMPIRE, ETC. THIS WAY YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE YOU'RE BITING OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW. YOU WILL EASE YOURSELF INTO DA KEEPING WITHOUT THE STRESS OR WORRY.

SOMEONE WHO LIKES THE DARKER SIDE OF THINGS WILL HAVE LITTLE-TO-NO ACCLIMATION WITH A DARK ARTS SPIRIT COMPANION. IF YOU'RE A BRIGHT & CHEERY SORT OF PERSON THEN YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE A PERIOD OF ACCLIMATION. MOST OF THE TIME THIS DOESN'T LAST MORE THAN A FEW DAYS, BUT IF YOU BRING HOME A REALLY DARK COMPANION, LIKE A HARPY, THEN YOU MIGHT HAVE A LONGER PERIOD TO ADJUST.

IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU REALLY NEED A DA COMPANION TO HELP YOU BUT YOU AREN'T A VERY DARK PERSON THEN YOU SHOULD OPT FOR A NON-SOCIAL DA SPIRIT TO ACCLIMATE WITH FIRST, LIKE A WRAITH. NON-SOCIAL SPIRITS USUALLY HAVE LITTLE-TO-NO ACCLIMATION PERIOD NO MATTER HOW LIGHT OR DARK YOU ARE IN PERSONALITY. NON-SOCIAL SPIRITS TEND TO DO THEIR OWN THING & MIND THEIR BUSINESS. THEY DON'T SOCIALIZE SO THEY AREN'T GOING TO BE IN YOUR FACE.

REMEMBER TOO THAT ALMOST ANYTHING YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH CAN BE DONE WITH A WHITE ARTS SPIRIT COMPANION THE SAME AS A DARK ARTS SPIRIT COMPANION. NOT EVERYTHING, BUT ALMOST EVERYTHING. SO IF YOU'RE ON THE FENCE & YOU'RE NOT SURE FIND A WA SPIRIT FRIEND WHO CAN HELP YOU.

THERE IS A MISCONCEPTION THAT DARK ARTS SPIRITS ARE STRONGER OR MORE CAPABLE THAN WA. THAT'S NOT TRUE. THERE ARE SOME WA SPIRITS WHO CAN TEAR IT UP IF THEY HAVE TO, THE DIFFERENCE IS WA SPIRITS DO IT FROM A PLACE OF POSITIVE POWER. THEY DON'T ACT OUT OF PRIMAL MOTIVATION, THEY ACT BECAUSE IT'S JUSTICE OR RIGHTEOUS.

YOU NEED TO BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF & FEEL OUT THE CALLINGS YOU HAVE TO SPIRITS. IF YOU FEEL A CALLING WITH A DARKER SPIRIT & YOU'RE NERVOUS, THEN TALK TO THE PRACTITIONER/CONJURER TO FIND OUT IF THIS IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU. SOMETIMES SPIRITS CALL TO YOU FOR A FUTURE PURPOSE THAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT YET, & SOMETIMES YOU CAN DO A HECK OF A LOT MORE THAN YOU GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT FOR.

I do love reading @ASH 's posts because it's empowerment to my dark side. I am embracing my darker energies progressively in the last one year with little by little going on the dark side kind of CH spirits.

I just got a Harpy lady, I do adore along with my very first hellhound and a white art Sterling Angel, all on my triumvirate. I am waiting on a triad with other hellhound, first CH werewolf ... I do hope it'll look white and a volkh (the 6th) in my keep. But Ash might decide to swap the volkh for a wraith. Would be a nice trio that way too.

I probably have about 15% of my companions dark art, compared with the rest of mine, over 300 in my keep. Probably, Vampires are my largest in number of Dark friends, starting from grey to very dark art spectrum. Last time I counted my vamps was about 16. Then, my Djinn group comes next as my second largest in numbers. And the rest of it with limited numbers usually not more then 3 or less of the same kind like Bannik, dark creatures, two black dragons & gargoyle and were creatures (few types), non social beings like wraith and few celestials on that dark edge, topped it all with a devil Eater, demon Dancer and the recent very dear Harpy Bird.

I feel that I am pretty balanced in my nature leaning toward white art. But because I am striving on balance, I love having my dark art spirits with me as they do help me with grounding and other things like embrace my duality and working with Immortals energy. It's definitely rewarding to work with both arts and it's successfully working out for me with Ash's careful paring conjuration system. I wouldn't trust anyone else to conjure my darkest companions.

As others have said, this is something only you can answer and your feeling towards the specific DA entity/spirit. If you are drawn to, or have a calling to a specific race/entity/spirit, then there is usually a reason for it and they would like to help you in some way on your path.

In my experience, DA entities and spirits can range from average to quite powerful and ever present in nature. DA is not just DA. It has a scale from Grey to borderline BA. I have entities and spirits throughout the entire spectrum. Some are from CH and others from seasoned/vetted practitioners. The borderline BA ones are of course the ones who need to be watched and reminded more about house rules and their energy is very intense. In general, for me, DA beings are much easier to communicate with, feel and work with for specific tasks, than my WA companions.

All this said, even my darkest entities are loyal and respectful. They are just more to keep tabs on as they are sometimes like naughty kids who try to push their luck with things, even when they know they should not. Its their nature.

If you are new to DA beings and are generally a WA person, then please start out with Grey Arts, which will help you to adjust to the energy better. DA can get quite intense and if you do not know how to handle it, it can be quite inhibiting in your daily life.

I know my da limit. It's close to ba. Lol. I was offered randomly a pact or this immortal wants you to marry her. I was like huh. What. I said it's not u it's me I honestly cannot make any promises and marriage is one heck of a promise. I respect and like Lilith but I had to deny the pact. Same with the demons that go by a certain name starts with a g. I can't play with them either pretty sure they are considered ba. The darkest I have I think are my multex. If you read about multex. They are living da. But when it comes to fighting ba ch pretty much says it's pretty much ba the way they handle with trouble makers. Their energy to me is hands down darker than a wraith or my ghoul. I could be wrong very soon after I got multex I ended up with three wraiths a ghoul even a banshee from a different conjurer I specifically asked before hand if the banshee has an issue with a male keeper. If anyone was concerned. But yeah I don't have I'm use to dark. I'm use to angelic or maybe light beings is a better term. I really enjoy both spectrums and I. Believe if u can handle both u will really enjoy what both can offer. I would not skip out on the term GA either though there is some very unique energies out there that is GA or even neutral.

I would like to edit. My darkest might be Santa murette. But she knows my drill the moment she came in I said no promises. She is super sweet on me. Many say she intimidating and likes to stand over you. I call her motherly and she has never stood over me like that I don't think she would ever do that to me ever.

But, many claim there is a black arts side to her. Rather there is or not I will never see it. She knows I refuse deals like that. I don't want to owe any debts. So. I would have to say Santa murette is my darkest if u believe in her black arts side.

Whomever told you that Lilith wants you to marry her is probably misguided, or you've misunderstood; it doesn't work like that. If an immortal wishes to form a pact with you it is usually because you offer something or have some connections that can benefit them, and they would communicate it directly. You would also have already been in some level of working relationship with an immortal for this kind of proposal to be in the range of believable.

Lilith reaching out to men for 'marriage' is a hilarious idea to me, she really doesn't have anything to gain from that. A lot of men seem to think they are favored by her, and she's good at letting them believe that if there are resources [or amusement] to be gained.
A man really must have something that serves her especially well for her to enter into an agreement with them, as it is exceptionally easy for her to command love/desire/worship among men without promising anything in return, so it'd be odd not to have that bit communicated. This is not to say she dislikes men or doesn't work with men, it's just the idea of 'marriage' being desirable to her that is so unlikely. Note that every immortal is different in mentality toward this thing, though.

For that matter, and these comments are not toward you specifically but generally speaking - plenty seem to have a weirdly oversexualized view of Lilith.. that's an aspect, but just one aspect of her. I have been working with her for a very long time and have to laugh at the single-mindedness of people regarding this figure.

I think the idea of spirit marriage as well is greatly skewed in the minds of most in the metaphysical community, like with these listings you will see offering to initiate pacts on your behalf.. these are plain stupidity. But, they reel in those who don't know any better.

mostly comes from the idea of she is the mother of incubi n sucubi. i was told all this due to things happening around me at the time another person i worked with agreed she was watching or was interested. i never said she favored me in fact what came to my mind was how many husbands does she have then? just bc she is interested in a weird star seed. lol.


i can only argue one thing. iv had immortals present themselves to me without offerings. in fact one i told myself why do i keep hearing the name juno in my head. i do think immortals like to play. either case i wasnt ready to work wth Lilith i dunno if i ever will be yet. im drawn to many i havnt yet. iv even had an awake vision of juno. when working with her. the vision was just a small token from her telling me she understood my humor. the image i saw was a woman that was a brunette very pretty and she was smirking like she cant true but its not like it doesnt cross her mind.

i dont see immortals the same as most people i love n respect them but i dont put them above any other soul. and i know that can turn some of them on or off which is okay. but i do have statues of santa murette, apollo, i need more.... for others like indra. indra again i did get a channel from ch to him but he purely acted on his own with me filling me with rage trying to get my attention and i had to sit down n say u have my blessing to engage target if not in my spirit family,. iv never given him qn ofeering yet or anything. i got a channel to japanese god of the moon n on halloween he was really interacting with me i never had beer ever make me feel like that before or after. so i dunno? @Vipera aspis atra i do seem to have a history with some of them though or i should say higher self we will see i recently got immortal in blood reading. i have no expectations

i had other statues 3 inch really cute statues of a few other immortals but they kept breaking it was weird. so if lilith was showing up im not sure what she wanted to be honest
