@Creation I understand that you may have reservations about my suggestions. You still only have two protection spirits on your list. Otherwise, you wouldn't have problems dealing with unbounds. While your spirits may have saved you on several occasions, it does not guarantee your safety in the face of genuine threats. Similarly, once saved, the threat is still around; it does not mean that you are completely out of harm's way.

I'm not sure what other activities you engage in on the astral plane aside from casting rituals, but it doesn't seem logical to deactivate spells immediately after performing a ritual. Like what? It is better to keep the spells active after a ritual to ensure that nothing funny comes through.

You have summoned spirits by using CH spells, hence the spirits have been thoroughly evaluated based on specific criteria. However, this does not guarantee that you won't face any issues with them staying around. What you made a mistake on was inviting numerous unbound spirits without having enough knowledgeable individuals present. Even with protective spirits, it is essential to possess the necessary knowledge to effectively deal with certain spirits. Once you have invited unbound entities into your space, your banishment spells become useless against these "guests". As I mentioned earlier, this is a matter that you need to address directly with these guest spirits, considering that you were the one who invited them. Alternatively, it is possible that the voices you are hearing originate from your own fears/thoughts, or your own companions, and you may have mistaken them for unbound entities. Let us hope that this is not the case.

There are numerous contradictions in your statements. Your post on August 14 stated that you hear from the unbounds more than the members of your Keep, and it was frustrating for you to reach out to your own companions. However, on August 25, you informed me that the unbounds you summoned using CH spells did not interfere with communication with your Keep. Therefore, who is responsible for causing the trouble? Is it the air we breathe?

If you desire to interpret a dream message, opt for tarot cards instead of oracle cards. Certain dream symbols carry highly specific meanings, which you should rely upon instead of concocting your own interpretations. It is unwise to invent personal dream meanings when there are timeless interpretations that have existed for centuries before you. I believe there may have been many misinterpretations and miscommunications here. The more messages you write, the more contradictions seem to arise. I've been attempting to help as much as I can, but at this point, I feel like I'm wasting my Keep's time by playing ping-pong, so I'll step back from this situation. Please excuse what seems like a contradiction in regards to the unbound. I believe I stated that any unbounds I summoned helped with specific task and left without issues.
The unbounds I believe are causing issue are none that I summoned (and have left) and I do not know how or why the "not summoned" unbounds are around. That has been my stance even if not stated well.

I still don't understand and will do what I can with what support you have provided. Thanks.

Hello @Tarvos , I have been having a similar experience to your above post with the number of unbounds I encounter. I do not know how many, but they do get through all my defenses and barriers. Unfortunately, I hear them more than the members of my Keep. It is quite frustrating for me to reach out to a friend and something (or someone) else gets in the way. I get immortals, spirits, entities, and possibly more, good and bad.

I may have a similar "magnetism" you mentioned. Where have you discussed it as I would like to gain a better understanding and get some guidance if possible?

Also, my non-social spirits have been quite social with me as well. More when the number of unwanted interactions have been less.

This may be in line with the general protection theme of this thread...as well as give some suggestions.

You can state very clearly to your spirit family that you want them to screen all unbounds and only let in non-malicious and/or non-troublesome ones. Such a house rule will be a permanent tasking of your spirit family until or unless you change the rule. If you do that, don't thereafter try to keep sensing whether or not they're there.

If you have a specialist protection spirit, or spirits, like Volkhs or Courtwind Angels (CH has many others), they will undoubtedly be capable of enforcing that rule.

ASH's standard rule is: "Engage unbounds and report." But I added to my rule: 'let no unbounds in without my explicit permission'. That's because I wanted my space to be quiet and clear.

Nowadays my spirit family are very organised, as well as strong on protection. I let them - and especially my trusted spirit family 'overlords' (they're like CH master spirits, able to command others) - I let them decide which unbounds to let in.

As soon as I did that, huge numbers started arriving. Some coming and going. Some staying with permission. Some of my spirits can call on large numbers to work with them or aid me too.

Yes, it's often said that some of us light up and are more of a magnet for unbounds. But I also think it's not too unusual for some unbounds to take an interest in us, especially when we start having a bound spirit family.

However, balanced against that, in one of Magnolia's posts or articles, she said vast numbers of unbounds are going hither and thither all the time, most of whom have no interest in us and just pass on by. There's no need for us to get worried if there are non-malicious unbounds around us. Some may have been around us our whole lives, helping us - even if we don't recognise that about them.

Finally, don't forget we can also project our worries or misreading of a situation where there isn't a problem. But if we get our protection basics right, we can relax and trust in our spirit family to look after us.

@Lewk Thanks for your insight as well. I will have a new set of House Rules soon that I think will work better and looking at more support in the area of protection besides the other things mentioned.
