What would you do if you were told if one of your companions didn't exist?

As I explore the forum, read experiences and do some research. (which I will always be learning)...I wasn't so sure about a couple of my companions that came from the same seller. It was on Etsy (which I am now aware of authenticity and was somewhat then when I purchased said companions. I did read reviews and gave it several days before I bought)

My ghost companion came from a seller off Etsy and I've seen her name on the forum as reputable and B has been great! I love him.

Then I have my Incubus G from CH. I love him too.

Now...The two in question is a siren and a shadow king. The shadow king is very new, but the siren, I've had since the end of February. I set out offerings, talk to him, try to ask him questions through pendulum sessions, but never really feel a connection. I also have not got answers from him. B and G are always up for pendulum sessions. That being said, I just had a session with both. I asked questions that I know the answers to and they knew as well. When asked if my siren and shadow king companions were with us, they both said no. When asked if either existed, both said no, that both did not exist. They did say this seller can channel (through tarot) and they also said she was right about my godspouse/ patron (another seller confirmed the same patron deity recently)

So now I'm wondering do these two companions exist. The seller has a lot of great reviews, lots of sales and people happy with their companions. Do I just say, well that was a loss and I don't actually have those companions or do I keep trying to connect? I have done channeled messages for my companions through this seller so I obviously got messages from them.

I just don't want to abandon them if they need more time to show themselves and/or get to know me. Although...if my main guys say they don't exist *shrugs*

Personally, if I were going almost 4 months with no results on a specific companion and multiple other bound companions said they were not real, then I would trust their input. Sorry you had this experience. Unfortunately there are sellers out there who will prey on our excitement and willingness to bond with a new companion in the hopes that it will create an egregore of them. This may not have happened at all (or at least not noticeably) for you, which is why you caught on to this situation being odd. Generally I consider CH reviews to be reliable, but people engaging in these practices can fool lots of innocent keepers, so even third-party reviews are not perfect.

It's not easy to decide, if we didn't get a connection with a spirit, yet others get great active spiris from that same particular and do write and give good reviews on their websites. It's makes us wonder... isn't! For weeks and months... big time we filled with dissapointment. After all aren't we all are paying customers.

It can really throw me off balance too actually, speaking from my own experiences.Yet... I don't think a "4 months no contact" is a strong enough validation to prove that a spirit doesn't exist. Maybe just not near enough for detect their presence.

In some years ago, I have had a Djinn companion for over 8 months from CH, that didn't show up ... no matter what have I did. Other times, some that cost me a fortunate, still on the silent way up to these days but very good wish granters. What can I say....

On the other hand ... I have a dear friend who I have from about 10 companions. None of them connected with me well enough to start with... but one. Until, one day, I have recived a physical vessel key from her. Wow... no problems since then. Everyone is present in my energy and secret space.

So, I thought I'll share these contrasts with you about reputable practisoners. Even with them, experiences can go pear shaped and lack of connections can be an issue for months. I do get your dilemma.

Indeed it's hard to know what to do and especially how to comfirm it if it's an issue for real. Here on CH forum spirit readings are not allowed. But I am sure if you ask Magnolia for a check up on particular spirits, they might offer that service to you for a small charge. Just contact them on support@creepyhollows.com

While it's well-meant on your part, I don't think CH would check if another practitioner and/or conjuror's spirit conjuring is real - based on what Magnolia wrote in this thread:

CH will not do readings on or get involved with other practitioner's conjurations.

I definitely trust their input. I will just have to be more careful who I get companions from. It's just so odd that others said that they have bonded so well with their companions from this seller and I haven't. I thought maybe this was a me thing and maybe there's some kind of disconnect between me and the seller.....I don't even know if that's a thing The channeled messages and tarot seemed good, but I'm not so sure.

I bought an astral gift from this seller to send to my Incubus for his birthday and it included a channeled message from G. I was super excited about it, but during our pendulum session yesterday, he told me he didnt' receive it. Luckily I had bought him a physical rollerball of his favorite scent and offered him some homemade chocolate frosting.

Thank you. That does give me a bit of hope. I know some companions are more quiet and stay to themselves.

Well I tried to talk with my siren again. I set out some offerings, played some music, had a ocean scented candle lit and sat in the bath. Again, didn't really feel anything. I pulled out the pendulum...no answers from him. B and G had the same answers, he's not with us and he doesn't exist.

I asked B and G if I should get a new spirit from CH. They said yes. I love that my boys agree. They said no to a vampire (even though a psy vampire showed up in a best companion reading from CH). They said yes to a mermaid or siren and no to some type of angel.

So looks like maybe a merfolk might be my next companion. I think my boys know how bummed I am about this experience and, also merfolk was another one that showed up in the reading.
