Halloween?

So, has anyone had some crazy experiences going around during Halloween, spirit wise?
Of course Halloween is suppose to be when the spirit veil is the thinnest, so I have been told. It was my werewolf's first Halloween last year. I think I heard him howl once, yet I'm not for sure if it was on Halloween night. Perhaps it was some other day, but whatever, that's not the story here.
What I'm wondering is if there is anything more "interesting" you can do during Halloween time. Something such as some type of unique bonding spell, candle ritual, or anything bonding wise.

I've been doing little research about Halloween superstitions as well. I don't believe in most of them, such as the classic black cat crossing the road. However, they still are pretty interesting. Black cats are also cute as well.
One I knew for a while was if at Halloween night your brush your hair and eat and apple in front of a mirror in a dark room that you may get a glimpse of your true love. If it appears as a skull, you will die before you get married.
Another different take on the black cat was that is you are walking alone at night and you see a black cat staring at you, then leave, it was suppose to be a demon looking at you.
(I think that's how it went but I have a feeling it had more detail for some reason.)
Finally if there is a baby born on Halloween then they are suppose to be psychic and can summon the dead.
Whelp, that's all I got. Superstitions are pretty interesting. And yes, has nothing to do with communicate except that I heard of some spell on this site involving a mirror and an invocation to grab a glimpse of your spirit friend. I have written it down already, I just don't know if I want to do it yet. I wanted a special time and place comfortable do it, fail or not.
Anyway, have any superstitions I don't know?
Oh, and Halloween connecting ideas would be great. Of course, Halloween can just be any day of the week, which I could see. But come on, being festive is great.
Okay, good bye reader. 2yn
