What protection against circumstances?

What are the spiritual / spelled protection available against circumstances (rather than spirits / entities) that affect some or all of us directly and physically, eg
- childlessness
- depression
- poverty
- stupid politicians
- corrupt government officials
- pollution
- global warming
- cancer
- many others
These problems are actually more relevant to the majority, eg the number of people being spiritually attacked is minuscule compared to those attacked by depression; we don't even need to mention pollution and global warming.
