HD just wrote me back and said they're seeing the same error code as we are, and they're working on getting it fixed! The first time HD wrote me back this morning it sounded like I was the only one having the issue, so I wanted to make sure no one else was having the same problem too!

Mine says "the coupon code cannot be used because the amount would be applicable to zero " or something along those lines
It should be working now! I was able to get it to work with no problems after they said it was fixed. If you're still having issues with it, you might want to put in a ticket to let them know!
