ATTENTION SELLERS: DO NOT CUT OFF YOUR OWN FOOT!

With some sellers tensions are high, and the uncertainty of eBay and the future of the meta-category is spawning rumors and some callous bad-mouthing of other sellers, which includes us, and we're aware of it.
However, I cannot strongly caution all the sellers enough to not get caught up in the gossip & malicious poison that circulates the sellers sometimes. There is no one who knows in the inner-workings of CH, just as there is no one who knows the inner-working of what you do every day in your own office/home. Bear that in mind when another seller tries to tell you what another seller is like, or what another seller's plans are. In circumstances such as this, you have to consider the source, and consider the motivation for what they are saying.
Don't forgo an opportunity you have to join a website, or group of sellers, because of something you've heard second-hand from someone who may not have any idea what they're talking about! They are dragging you down with them! Ash & I have personally read things that other sellers have said about us, and we shake our heads with absolutely no idea how they cook that stuff up! And, believe me, you'd do the same if you read what others say about you too, it's the unfortunate nature of all human groups that there will always be those trying to drag others down.
If you have any questions about a seller, talk to the seller directly! Most sellers would be delighted to talk to another seller and settle any matter.
The absolute best thing any of you can do is diversify! Utilize the channels that already exist and are already established to start listing your services & products because established channels already have established advertising, and traffic. Make your own website, it doesn't have to be elaborate, it can be informational & introductory... or, you can go all out & build your own shop, blog, etc. Whatever is in your comfort zone!
