BPAL!

I apologise if this is already posted, as it is popular enough that it might have been. But I thought I would just say that for both the ladies and gentleman on this forum who are into such beauty luxuries as perfume/cologne - you might like to check out BPAL!
http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com

As described on their site:
"We specialize in formulating body and household blends with a dark, romantic Gothic tone. Our scents run the aesthetic gamut of magickal, pagan and mythological blends, Renaissance, Medieval and Victorian formulas, and horror / Gothic-themed scents. By utilizing our knowledge of homeopathy and aromatherapy, the conceptual theories of hermetic alchemy, and the aesthetic artistry of perfumery, we have mastered the art of encapsulating allegorical ideas into singular olfactory experiences."

You can even potentially find a scent to match a spirit of yours, as they have one for various entities - here are some neat examples:
Lampades - "Their scent is the crisp, inviting bittersweet tang of cranberry with smoky dark lilies, heady, sensual musk, a tingle of ginger and a brush of Mediterranean spices."
Djinn - "The scent of black smoke, of crackling flames, and smoldering ashes."
Goblin -"Black coconut, gnarly patchouli, and sweet benzoin."
Incubus - "Spectral white musk and the heart-stopping chill of sheared mint, fanned by caramel-touched body heat, and the diabolical sensuality of black musk, nicotiana, and sage."
Nosferatu - "desiccated herbs and gritty earth brought to life with a swell of robust and sanguineous red wines."

There are MANY different categories to browse through, so if you decide to check it out take your time and try not to become addicted! I already am, this stuff is seriously gorgeous.

I am a total BPAL devotee!!! I probably have 500+ 'imps' (their name for little samples) and 50+ bottles! I actually was telling Magnolia about them recently as a company she should totally look into working with. TAL is amazing too (http://www.twilightalchemylab.com - they are the Magickal Oils side of BPAL). :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

I'm lucky to have an old limited edition one called Cerberus- it's very musky, dark, yet playful and my Cerberus loves it. I should pick up Cathedral again and see if my Gargoyle likes it... now I'm going to have to go through my imp box and see what my other spirits might enough. Of course, Elilara (my dragoness- I'm not randomly talking in third person) loves the whole Ars Draconis line.

Are these perfumes you wear? Their products look great. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to perfume. :(
I break out into a rash if it's on my skin. I can be around them and smell, but can't wear them.

They are generally for wearing, but I've used them in oil burners, on dryer sheets, on a cotton pad in the AC vent of my car, in a scent locket (which they also have on www.blackphoenixtradingpost.com)...

Do you know specifically what you are allergic to? BPAL is all natural and mostly just perfume oil, not filler yuck like some are...

That's too bad that you have troubles with perfume, I too have some weird skin reactions to very particular notes. Sometimes for people it really is just specific notes of a perfume that they react badly to, luckily for me it has never happened with BPAL yet! Their main site sells perfumes, and then there's Black Phoenix Trading Post which has all sorts of other goodies including some very lovely atmospheric sprays for any room in your house. Very cool stuff overall :D
BPAL recently had their Halloweenie update, so i've been scrounging to grab those up. For those of you who aren't yet familiar with the site, they have limited edition scents around holidays and also monthly lunar scents.
I agree about twilight alchemy lab, it is definitely awesome! just a few months ago I started incorporating magic oils in my spellwork, and i've got to say that TAL features some very powerful potions. ;)

I've seen that site before, I've always wanted to try something from there but a little afraid I'd pick something that I don't like the smell of.

Hopefully my fangirlyness here doesn't get too annoying... As far as ending up with scents you don't like, they also have a forum www.bpal.org that makes it VERY easy to swap with other collectors- I've found every scent I've picked up and hated is somebody's favorite thing ever ^_^.

Have you guys tried LaFlame? It's a girly smell and boy it my ex used to lose it when he was snuggling up to me. He would say "are you wearing seductive s****? Why are you doing this to me?" :inlove:

But I like their Milk and Honey (which is the only one I used up) and there's a couple of money potions that worked really well for me. It was one bonus check after another.

My last two boyfriends spent hella dough on me. So I would say it's totally worth it.

Well pretty much anything you can buy over the counter, I'm allergic to. I haven't tried natural perfume.

It really sucks cuz I like the smell of channel but I can't wear any. :( :(
