Cooking as an offering

Do you guys know if the food we cook is actually an offering since it creates smoke the way incense create smoke? I wonder if certain foods are offensive or peferred.

Most of my spirits prefer raw food, blood, or uncooked organs. However, my einherjar is Bonkers for homemade clam chowder, and crowds the kitchen whenever I make it. He is fond of a well done beef stew as well, but a sea food chowder just drives him wild.

I happen to know my spirits do like to partake in the aromas and my food when I am cooking it. They do enjoy the smoke and scent it gives off. My dragons and Were spirits love it.

Also, I am very, "laissez-faire" when it comes to my spirits partaking in my food items which I buy. I have taken the liberty of telling my spirits they are free to take energy from any food item in my home be it from the fridge or on the stove. My guys are pretty damned spoiled.

I love to cook for my vampires. Steak night is a crazy active night. They love the smell and energy. Some of them, as well as my werewolf, prefer the meat completely raw. But the act of involving them in my activities is what gets them interested.
