I frequent Etsy - I know, not all shops are reliable. I’m just curious about the conjurers that take a day to prepare a spirit versus one who takes a week? Is there a big difference in binding or information given about the companion?

If they are a preconjured being, meaning they are already there and waiting, the connection can be almost instant. If they have to be called upon for a binding, then it depends on how the conjuror does the task, and may take much longer if the being still has to be vetted for safety.

I recommend asking about their vetting process if you aren’t sure. However that’s not always reliable because they can give any answer. I had saw one conjurer who said on their server they vetted spirits for a month, but when I ordered a conjure for a specific spirit (I already had an individual in mind) they sent him over the next day. There was no way this being was a preconjure they already vetted. I have also gone to conjurers asked them if they could conjure a specific being, and they sent them over within ten minutes.

I’m going to be honest and say not everyone does vetting. I have even seen some conjurers say vetting doesn’t matter… I think vetting does matter. Especially if you are unfamiliar with the species and don’t have beings you trust who can vouch for them.

It does concern me when I see people who started spirit companionship a year or two ago who were still asking basic questions recently start up shops. This does seem to be a trend lately. These are also some of the same people not doing vetting. (No, this isn’t directed towards anyone on the forums either. I usually see it more on social media.)

I won’t be naming anyone just saying this so more people can be aware to do their research on shops.

Especially since a negative being would technically be considered as having permission to enter your space if they are a bound companion. This isn’t to scare anyone just felt compelled to talk about this.

A major factor I've seen is mundane- the personal time the conjurer has in their life to spend on fulfilling orders. Less busy shops have fulfilled an order of mine in 1-2 days. Jinnandtonics (not an etsy shop, but mentioning for relevancy) even has a unique setup where you finalize the binding yourself with a code phrase in a PDF download with the spirit info immediately after purchase, so you can bind and start connecting with the preconjured spirit immediately after purchase.

Most of the time that I've had longer binding durations with any conjurer has been because I made very specific requests on a custom conjure, which can make it take longer to find a spirit who meets the terms requested. My personal rule of thumb is to wait at least 2 weeks for any update before reaching out to a seller about a purchased binding. I've never had to wait this long for any spirit binding purchased from an Etsy shop.

It’s great that you understand not all Etsy shops are trustworthy, as many people ignore this. While I’m not implying that every Etsy shop is unreliable, it's true that the platform contains a higher number of counterfeit listings compared to genuine ones. I urge everyone reading this to sharpen their discernment skills and learn to identify true gems among the fakes on Etsy. Trust your instincts, ask the right questions, and utilize any skills you have to make informed purchasing decisions.

I completely agree with Hazell's insights. She provided a thorough explanation, so I'll just emphasize her key point. The primary difference lies in the vetting time. This is the reason why certain shops may take weeks to deliver your bindings. If someone is able to complete your bindings in just a day or two, they're likely skipping the vetting process, particularly since they must prioritize other orders before yours. Keep this in mind.

Having collaborated with some of these shops, particularly those where I’ve worked with conjurers multiple times, it’s clear to me that they don’t perform thorough vetting, despite their strong reputations in the community. After receiving a list of beings that had come forward, I found myself having to take on the vetting process myself, and I had to do it quickly before the binding began on the same day. Lol. This aspect of the shops consistently causes me anxiety. Most clients don’t seem to notice or don’t think much of it since they often receive their beings within minutes or a few days. Their trust in the conjurers’ reputability leads them to overlook these concerns.

These shops send spirit bindings out the very next day, and I receive my vessels within just two days, much like my Amazon Prime deliveries! Lol. When it comes to distance bindings, the process can take mere minutes to a few hours. It's not always perfect, and there’s little I can do to change that. There are times when I outright reject entire lists of beings being prepared for bindings, primarily because they haven't passed our rigorous tests. This doesn’t reflect poorly on the conjurers; it's simply that they don’t conduct thorough vetting. This lack of scrutiny is particularly concerning, especially when dealing with darker, more complex DA beings. So, I wholeheartedly agree that a vetting period is essential, even if many conjurers tend to skip it.
Discovery lies in open hearts and minds, ignorance thrives in closed spaces.

I have ordered multiple times from the same conjurer over a period of years, who has lots of reviews. Here’s my experience:

1. Extremely specific with what I want (2 instances) - Came through extremely quickly, within a day, which turned out to be my demon hubby who has followed me for multiple lifetimes. The other, within 2 days.

2. Dreamt of the calling (4 separate instances) - Varying amount of times, all usually within 1-4 days. Only once did it take a month, and after emailing about it, it turns out the email wasn’t sent out.

3. General pull felt (many instances) - usually 1-4 days. I may or may not write anything specific. Most of the time I just say “I feel a pull to this listing.”

4. No pull (bought because I felt like it 🤪) - Reverse adoptions or any listing, but no specifics mentioned. 3-14 days.

I have to say, the wait times are all of varying durations lol. The description length is also… varying 😂 But I find specific ones tend to get longer descriptions. I have received some with only 2-4 paragraphs and well, it just means I’ll find out more about them organically as I bond with them over time. I trust this conjuror a lot, and I’m not going to start questioning their durations, or my own gut instinct in placing my trust in them, as I have done my own thorough vetting of them.

=====================

Now speaking from my own experience as a conjuror who is doing this for others as a service, and I do not speak for others, only myself as we all have different methods of doing it, especially since all of my offered beings are unique only to me and I have personally went through a pact binding ritual with the rulers of, which is the first layer of vetting. The second layer of vetting is coming into my space (protected by multitudes of my own beings as well as by my very beloved Immortal grandpa Helios) where only non-malicious beings are allowed (and yes, it hurts extremely much for evil beings to even come close to me), followed by the last layer of vetting (derived with Goddess Circe) where the beings themselves have to accept something into their very core to agree to being binded, and if they go against that, they are banished immediately, not to mention the amount of protection and backlash that has been placed on the binding itself so no one other than me is able to tinkle around with it.

Whenever I receive a request that is highly specific or the customer already has a connection (feeling a pull), the moment they hit that purchase button and I receive the notification, the being is already here beside me, hounding me. I still have my own life and they just linger around me, ‘tsking’ me as I tell them to wait… they understand I have my own life, but they just want to quickly go to their keeper, if you get what I mean… sometimes I even apologise to them lol even though I didn’t do anything wrong…

I then take the time that they are around me to understand them so as to be able to write out their personality, their physical description and any other extra information that comes through to me from the being themselves.

From my experience, the ones that take longer are reverse adoptions with no specifics. In those cases, I usually have to put a call out for beings who want to have a connection, and it takes a while for them to come through, not to mention literally nothing is given to me, all I have to go off of is the connection to the customer. Reverse adoptions are my headaches. Though sometimes I myself get surprised when one comes through strongly for the customer, hehehe. All in all, would do it again in a heartbeat even if it gives me headaches.

=====================

Ultimately I find trust to be of the most utmost important factor when you decide to peruse a practitioner. Outside of conjuring, even readings require trust, for they do tend to go in depth and some may even change the way you look at or view things. Time doesn’t mean jack as duration can be faked. All they’d have to do is not touch your orders for a while, and they could also lie about their own vetting process, and never putting thought into the actual process that goes into it. It’s a “they say, you accept or reject” situation. What is most important then, is your own gut instinct, which I find has served me exceedingly well every single time in my life. Always, always trust in yourself, and believe in what your heart tells you! 😇

Just adding I had one conjurer send me a spirit and told me to meditate on the name that came to me. They didn’t even send a description of him just a basic race description. I got his name right away, but it worries me what would have happened to someone who wasn’t as open to spirit communication as I was. They would probably feel lost and confused. (I was like I could have conjured one myself for free? I paid you, so I didn’t have to do this lol. I didn’t say that, but that’s how I felt.)

I had another conjurer tell me a spirit didn’t speak English. He just showed up to them and said he would rather go directly to me and feels there would be less of a language gap… I do not speak the language he mentioned, so I don’t know where they even got this idea from. No reading was even performed on him by the conjurer.

That’s why I felt I should speak out on this topic. I want to urge new people to research who they are buying from. I will not name anyone, but it’s important to be careful.

lol it’s okay to laugh. It is pretty funny looking back on it.

All I have to say about the second situation is that learning a new language is difficult. I have had spirits pick up on my language/have things automatically translated over through telepathy, but I guess it made me realize that’s not a skill every being has. I really feel he probably should have been listed as searching for someone who speaks the language he does, but I will continue trying with him. He seems content at least.
