Do i just communicate to them (if they are in fact influencing my dreams) to tone it down a bit? hahaha. Also, how often do spirits control our dreams, unbound or not? is there a way to protect from it if it’s undesired?

@Alaric Im using the Spell to bring lucid dreams. i know there’s a spell that’s called dream control see what you need to see, but i’m just looking for a spell to help me control my dreams better in general. I’ve been a natural lucid dreamer for a long time actually. what i struggle with is controlling them recently, they are usually extremely chaotic and even though i’m lucid in them, nothing goes my way haha. and it’s because recently i haven’t been lucid dreaming as much as i used to in the past.

I wonder if this was by any chance a reply to @Tarvos.

If I understand you correctly the main issue is control of dreams that are chaotic? Have you thought of tasking the CH spell to help support your dreams being less chaotic, while fulfilling its main function? Or to achieve its function without causing your dreams to be chaotic? It doesn't take strength of will to task a CH spell, you simply summon it and speak to it, eg telepathically - as the CH tips I linked to recommend.

If my dreams become disturbing or chaotic, what I do is do cleansing, grounding, centering & protection before sleep. eg Space clearing of the room; cleansing myself of 'negative' energies, emotions & mental clutter; a diy protection around me to last for the sleep period; includes protecting the aura. Raising the awareness to the third eye chakra as well.

I find doing this myself helps me mentally/psychologically as well as energetically, so my dreams are less likely to be chaotic or take me places I don't want to go.

Finally, you can invite or request spirit companions to escort you in their realm during sleep.

You can just ask them. 'If' they are influencing, to tone it down--and 'if' they aren't, to get involved and smooth it out, lol. I wouldn't cut them off altogether though--the dream/lucid realms with your companions involved are wonderful adventures to be had, with knowledge to be gained.

I don't know the races/abilities of your spirit friends, but I'm sure, to one degree or another, they can protect you from unbound influences while you dream if asked to do so. Just note the 'may' allow certain unbounds through who aren't malicious, and in fact, may be beings you might be interested in.

The first spell you’re referring to is designed to induce lucid dreams about the future, which essentially means they’re future visions. This is why you can’t steer these dreams or control them in any way. Because of this nature of the spell, the future visions, along with your personal dreams and those involving your friends, tend to be chaotic and all over the place. I’d suggest reaching out to CH to ask them to deactivate the spell, as it seems to be causing effects you didn’t intend.

On the other hand, the second spell allows you to have control over specific elements by using designated code words. However, for everything else, you’ll find yourself without any control. If it were up to me, I’d recommend opting for a custom spell instead. I hope this information proves useful.
