Who enjoys practicing Reiki? I began almost a year ago when I first began really getting into the occult. It is a white arts practice, so it's best suited to thise forum. Who enjoys using it, and what has it done for you?

The most important lesson from reiki - for me - was to expect to be filled with energy to the extent that I was open to receive it. Automatically. I just had to make room and let it in.

Reiki energy does come with programming, but that doesn't mean it can't be used for dark arts purposes. The energy is like money, in that once it is in your checking account you can spend it on food or you can spend it on guns, poisons, or explosives. Having extra money in your account to spend on food frees up other money to spend on ways to poison your neighbor. When you are done, if you do find that you have depleted yourself, reiki will still fill you up again.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I've used Reiki for DA purposes all the time. But its intent is WA. However, you comparing DA to guns, poisons and explosives is more than wrong. It's not like all white is good, all dark is evil...that's Judeo-Xtian speak right there. I've used it for DA purposes, but not evil ones.

I believe if it was to be classified as anything, it would be grey or neutral. Reiki will do what it needs to do, it will not harm an individual. I wouldn't call it white, but I wouldn't classify it black either.

I have found reiki hugely useful in manifesting and Im now a practitioner. Reiki goes to the highest food of the person and I have no attachment to the outcome. Being attuned to Level 2 was the most helpful thing I ever did for myself. People can also self attune-there is flexibility within reiki, untent is more powerful than getting the symbols correctly, i recommend taking a local workshop or having a distance session to anyone. I also use the level 2 symbol to connect to WA entities and it works wonderfully. I always asked Archangel Michael to oversee everything and clients love it that they can feel subtle energies. Also, running reiki overnight for yourself can alliviate chronic pain.

Dark Arts are the ability to hurt yourself or other people. In other words, the same qualifications to be confined to a psychiatric hospital. I know this because I learned it here repeatedly and still no one has a better answer about dark arts. The ability to harm people requires tools and I gave examples of things one can buy to harm people. Now in addition to Dark Arts we have Black Arts discussions. Anyway, it isn't like I believe that everything a Dark Arts person does is automatically to cause harm - or I'd avoid posting and calling attention to myself. And I'm not Christian.

I started with reiki in 1998. Like everything else, I still have to try harder than I like to find meaningful results.

The more I study Reiki, the more fascinated by it I am. And the more I realize that there are a LOT of aspects of it, particularly the distance-healing modalities, that I was already using (thanks to crystal and Chakra work) before I'd ever heard of the word Reiki. So this is a great fit for me.

I just got a set of four Quartz points, each of which is polished and engraved with a Reiki symbol in gold. In the same order, I got seven tumbled stones, one for each Chakra, engraved with the Sanskrit symbol for said Chakra in gold. Merry Christmas to me. :) I am going to have a grand old time doing healing with these.

I LOVE using reiki and I use it everyday on myself for the migraines and if I have not learned it, I would be a real mess without it!!!!!!

I also LOVE sending it to those who have need of it and want it's healing energy!!!!! As for it being used as a da energy, this is the first I have heard of that!!! For me it is a WA energy!!!!

Here is a link that may help in understanding why it is considered a WA energy and not used as a DA energy!!! It can be used in protection against Da or Ba energy along with other things that help with that kind of energy, but mainly reiki is a WA energy!!!!
