I plan to be doing rune readings long-term on here through this thread. Even people I've already read for are welcome to come back a week later for another reading per my rules (I admittedly didn't word that clearly enough in my original post).Plax wrote: βMon Sep 30, 2024 6:37 pm If you're still doing readings I would like one. I super appreciate it.
Good thing: It just happened an hour ago. I was half asleep and I felt my bed jump almost. On the edge of my headboard I could see my gargoyle just chilling there watching tv. I had animal planet on .
Question: What advice do I need to hear right now.
P.S: I have never gotten my runes read or seen someone who can do rune readings. I find it fascinating and would like to know more about the process. Of course if that is personal then I am sorry. Either way super appreciative.
People have many differing approaches to how they read runes. My own is outlined in detail here! If you have other questions about them feel free to ask, I love discussing the runes and they are a very important gift to me.
As for your own reading...
WHAT THINGS DO YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF AT THIS TIME?
GEBO, ISA, RAIDHO
Gebo, the gift, represents exchange. Gifting is one of the most important parts of existence, whether with the people close to you, the spirits around you, or the divine forces above them. Gebo can also equally represent sacrifice, because any true gift is a sacrifice to the giver. Material gifts are great, but time and energy are gifts as well. The runes are telling you to look for opportunities at gifting; what is it that you can give to those closest to you and who is it around you that deserves a gift? A gift given leads to a gift back.
Isa is the rune of ice. Many new-agey types interpret Isa to mean a situation is metaphorically "frozen" in place or that things will not change, but this is not how the rune poems talk about it. Ice is a slippery bridge, full of danger but also a thing of beauty. It can be an obstacle or the way forward. Take caution against unnecessary risk but keep moving forward on your bridge.
Raidho is the rune of journey. This can be in the form of literal travel or a metaphorical journey, and Raidho generally speaks to me in the form of the latter. There is some opportunity that you are either undertaking or have the choice to undertake. This rune being face-up indicates a journey worth taking.
Together and in the context of this question, the runes tell me that you should look at what is around, count your blessings, and give them back to the world. If there is something you are having doubts about doing, the runes are saying it is worth going forward with some caution; there may be an element of risk but you have more to gain in return.
