The Best thing about flea markets is when you come across something like this for only $10!:



But the most fascinating thing about it is the inscription on the blade..



Does anyone know what language this is? I'm thinking greek but I'm not completely sure. It would make sense if it was though because the face on the sheath looks like it's horned like the greek god pan. But its hard to tell because of how rusted it all is.




I'll be grateful for anyone's opinions, I'm really interested in what the blade might say! This was a great find!

It may be a bastardization of Enochian. You are right - It is not Greek - Check out the Grimoire of Pope Honorius...might be some clues there.

Oh man I love going to things like that, that is how I found and got my ancient knife blade with the dragon in it, for .50 cents I think!!!

Your dagger I don't think is Greek, like Caiyros said Eonchian it may be!!!!! I would have to look through my resources here to be sure!!!! But that is a wonderful find!!!! :thumbup:

I have it on my computer which is down right, until it gets fixed!!! When it gets fixed I will post the picture, right now using hubby's old computer!!!!!

And starfire, how'd you know there was a spirit in it? Maybe I should go to the local flea markets more often..

Because the dragon was in the stone, you could see it quite clearly, even that guy that had the stone dagger, did not realized what he had until I showed it to him, even the hubby was impressed by it!!!!

I know when I first got it I talked about it in here I will have to see if i can find that and give it a bump, riht now my computer is down and I am on hubby's old computer until mine is fixed!!!

It was a stone knife that had the handle broken off of it and it was made a very longtime ago, and it was not 50 cents, but ten dollars as it was a very old item!!!! I found my post of it in my blog!!!! It would have sold for 20.00 if it had not been broken!!!!! I still can't believe I found that as I am sure some of my own dragons lead me there to it!!!! I will post the pictures in my own blog of it, sice I don't want to take awy from this blog of the wonderful dagger that had been found!!!! 7\
