Ghost Adventures, anyone?

Now, I have got to say I am not typically a fan of these paranormal investigation or ghost hunting shows. Maybe I'd view them for some cheap entertainment, but find most to be ridiculous or boring. People screaming and having a fit after they have intentionally provoked spirits.. other stuff that is obviously a set-up. Some are far too skeptic, others far too gullible or unwilling to work. Gag me with a spoon. They fail at bringing true integrity to paranormal studies.

But GA, top notch. Lol. I mean, that show is a good time. After a little research of my own, and judging by the manner of the team I cannot doubt it's authenticity. They have gotten some awesome evidence and are fun to watch.

Noc, GA is one of the only shows of that genre that I'll watch. Like you mentioned, I find their research methods and results fascinating and very entertaining! Plus, it doesn't hurt that Zak Bagans is ridiculously hot.

Blue, GA is a paranormal investigation show that plays on the Travel Channel (here in the US). :)

the episodes are also on youtube, my girl loves them, and I happen to like them as well since they are fairly accurate. They just went back to the Gold Field.

Well I have to admit, it's the only show I tune in for in hopes of seeing somebody get there butt kicked by a ghost for being stupid. There's another one coming on SciFci channel very soon, it's called deep south paranormal. It looks like a cross between ghost hunters, swamp people, and moonshiners, all rolled into one. But I bet the best part is going to be when one of the guys or gals get there butt kicked and goes to describe it. "Well when it attacked me, it was like taken a raccoon and tossing it in a garbage pale, slamming the top on and beat the hell out of the can with a stick, then opening the top, and sticking you head into it. Wooweee, I never saw it coming. "

Just remember the majority of the time it's just them no other crew, and they are in the pitch black of night with only the infrared cams to help them see, and when it's more than them its one or two more. So when they are surprised by something that happens it's because they can't see it till it impacts them. Also usually they don't try and tick the spirits off, they just try to get them to interact.

I had a marathon of this with a friend on Halloween and sometimes force my parents to watch it when I visit them simply for the laughs. I prefer watching Ghost Hunters when I want something serious. Really can't stand the shows where they bring in psychics though.

I love this show. lol And there was one episode...not sure what location they were investigating...but one of the guys entered a room and saw a full manifestation of a spirit that wanted them to leave (and they weren't provoking) that scared the guy so bad he nearly fell backwards. The energy was so strong that it caused both cameras in the vicinity to freeze for just the few seconds that it happened. I think the spirit had been a nurse who worked there, but I don't remember if it was a hospital or some other sort of institution.

In the same episode, they'd previously interviewed two women who'd captured an exceptional EVP in one of the other rooms of a little girl. They caught the same spirit on an EVP of their own.
