This is a quick simple and very tasty one for all you busy moms out there with families that love a hearty home cooked meal.

You will need a crockpot
between 2 and 5 pounds of thin cut stake depending on how many you need to feed
4 cans of diced potatoes store brand is fine or if you want to peel and dice potatoes do that
1 can of sliced carrots
1 stalk of celery thinly sliced
1 can of Healthy Request carmalized French onion soup
2 cans of beef broth
a dash of soy sauce
a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
salt and pepper to taste

Braise beef in a frying pan before adding all ingredients to a crock pot, works best if you start it at bedtime let it cook all night on low and it will be ready by lunchtime the next day, or start in the morning set on high and it will be done by dinnertime that evening. Serve with warm cheesy bread which is perfect for sopping up the broth.

The purpose of life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well preserved body, but rather to Slide in sideways, Espresso in one hand bullhorn in the other, body completely used up and thoroughly worn out, yelling and HOLY CRAP, what a ride!

"Never play leapfrog with a unicorn."

Sam - "Close encounter? What kind? First, second? Third kind already? You'd better run man, I think the fourth kind is a butt thing."
Dean - "Empathy Sam, empathy!"
