Am I right in assuming that the spices are just there to give it some...spice and it doesn't really matter if you switch it around a bit?

Oh yeah, not sure if it can be done with this mixture though it should be able to if you cool it in the fridge for 20 mins or so, but I find that rolling the dough into a log and slicing it up to make round cookies is easier then flattening the dough and cutting the shape out with a cookie cutter.
Won't work if the mixture is too soft though.

You can alter the spices a bit if you want to, but you may want to make the original first (for familiarity), and then try adding, or changing, the spices.

Oh Noc, you don't want my cakes LOL I'm not the best when it comes to baking. I try very hard, but I am no pastry chef by any stretch of the imagination.

I'd have thought with all the cooking and baking Spells/Spirits that are offered in the store you'd be a Master Chef by now Mags.

I'd have thought with all the cooking and baking Spells/Spirits that are offered in the store you'd be a Master Chef by now Mags.

No, if I have spare time baking is not one of the things I prefer to do. I'm a great cook when it comes to making entrees or appetizers, but neither Ash, or myself, are big with sweets. I do make exceptions at Halloween & Christmastime when ancient dishes are prepared as an offering of the season.

:lol: I'm not much of a sweet tooth, it would be lost on me.

If you'd like a Shepherd's Pie, BBQ Ribs, Lasagna, Quiche, Kabobs, etc. you're in my field of comfort. :thumbup:
