Wellness Zinger Shot

I feel like I'm fighting something off today, I want to share my wellness shot recipe. It has worked well for me, I drink it to keep from getting sick or if I'm already sick it will shorten recovery time. I'll drink it 2x a day if I really don't want to get sick. I think it tastes great, but it's definitely a punch on the taste buds due to the garlic, ginger and citrus.

(Makes 2 shots or 1 super beverage)

1 handful cilantro (or parsley)
Juice of 1/2 large lemon (or lime)
1-2 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
2-inch piece of ginger, peeled and chop
1 large garlic clove, chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of black pepper
1c water

Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.

This is an excellent blend of juice to to drinkande prevent sickness. I made a mental note of this to try it. Thanks for sharing it.
