Upgrading an Alpha, while this cannot be done in a traditional method, they can be taught the abilities by another servitor. As a for instance, say a Alpha wished to learn far seeing, per the Occulous. It would examine the coding, watch it in action, and copy the ability to itself. This would allow an Alpha with no ability to gain skills and abilities easily. Alphas can also learn from your spirits. Or even you. So while they cannot be upgraded in the traditional sense, they can be taught any ability.

yeah, not so much, I made them as powerful, and close to entities as I could, but many of their abilities are variations on servitor types. For instance, the ability to breed is a variation of a servitors ability to go viral if certain conditions are met. They are strong, they are self aware, they are independent, but they are not Living beings, something to remember.

Per my definition they are, so there, nyar nyar. I'd give you a name myself, but it'd probably be naughty and get censored, something with ginormous body parts or so

Well, I'm not sure you're thinking of the right bone. But something along the line of Lord Kelis Horserooster (hah, that can't get moderated.....hopefully). Or Kelis, Lord of pleasurable encounters for women....err.....yeah. 3|D

I don't think there's a very solid distinction between wild spirits and constructs (other than the way they are patterned on an energy level). Constructs (Servitors) can have personalities, emotions, self-awareness, and the ability to learn. So, I do, and always have, considered them a type of spirit, not something different from a spirit.
