Do you know a good book that can help someone on their path? Or, are you looking for a certain type of book?

Literally so many spirits and entities now, even after I said I would not get anymore. But definitely under 200. May it stay that way :p)

I appreciate your answers darkwing! Also. The Nancy Watson's book gave me a better understanding and I really do thank you for that.

No problem : )
There's a wide variety of topics in the alchemy (physical, gnostic, psychology, etc), it may be better to check the one you're interested more in first : )

I did that when I was looking into the "Classical Elements." He coined the word and agreed with Aristotle and Galen on the elemental 4: Earth, Fire, Water and Air. But he's more like the father of poisons/toxic materials than the type of Alchemist I was looking to learn from. He does have good points that I can agree on.

Nicholas Flamel does sound interesting to do some research into. Just a tiny bit ; )

The elements in alchemy referring to these are not literal but resemble the 'universal laws' that operate similar things to the 4 stuff listed. I've read some alchemy books and its all very plural or symbolic.

The alchemical 'sulphur' refers to the energy or 'soul', 'mercy' to the spirit and 'salt' to the thing's physical body. The idea is everything's living and vibrates on a certain frequency. Whether mineral, plants or animals.
