Slime Time—(Ranchers Unite?)

I've heard that with certain types of astral portals, especially ones involving time travel, other humans in the realm may not acknowledge you; you're just a visitor to a past moment in time. TYP said this was how it worked for her Paris portal for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if the onsen was the same. Cool of you to explore the area around a bit! I just used my portal there the other day and never made it out of the spa, LOL

*Another update*

So, as per @Hazell suggestion, I got my very own slime from Obsidian Slime. A Green Honeydew Jelly, (who knew slime technology had advanced this far?!), which best fit her description. Good grief, this stuff smells delicious. I have resisted the impulse to taste it though, lol. After following instructions to make the 'activator' and added it, this stuff is very jelly-like and it does not stick to anything!

A'ight, imma little outta touch with this current slime tech--this was a wow to me.

But the interaction... Hahahahaha! I could feel she loved it. Took a while to confirm what she likes. "Nonono! No poppy bubbles!" "No stretchy! NO stretchy!"

When the handling was right, she was exuding warmth and excited amusement. IE, giggles, and lots of them. To the point my wife remarked, "You must really like that stuff."

"What? Why?"

"You haven't stopped smiling since you picked it up!"

Yeah, couldn't help it--I was being bombarded by joy.

Now, here's the weird part. (Not really, lol) Remember how I said it won't stick to anything? Yeah, the wife can't touch it. Wash hands, activator--it doesn't work. It sticks to her like it's attacking her.

Until I touch it. Then it releases, and I can easily pat all the sticky residue off my wife's hands, and handle it like normal. Even if I didn't hear the "NO TOUCHY!" in my head, the message was clear.

Yeah, I now have a container of haunted slime that will aggressively stick to anyone but me.

Honeydew was a good choice. What is the difference between the advanced ones and the regular ones?
Browsing them made me feel like a kid in a candy store. So many choices!

I gather the differences in levels (beginner to advanced) deals with how jelly-like and sticky they can be. I see the beginners are like foam slime as opposed to an advanced which is almost liquid-like? Meaning the advanced will require diligent usage of activator solution.

Mine was intermediate, and required a few shots of the solution to get it going.

--Another update on behaviors of Slimes--

Started a new 'month' with my orb for the CH Spirit Communication class. This starts the 'feeling' class part. I have been fully capable with this skill for some time, but it doesn't hurt to work on upping the ante.

And it did reveal that I do kinda neglect to notice my companions touches as of late, since they have become such a normal way of things. The first thing I noticed upon activating the new binding, was a mass on the top of my head--not centered, but top and right side.

Like an off-centered hat. Talk about an OCD trigger.

I quickly realized it was the slime. Now, I know she's taken up residence there--seems 'retail space' on me for my 'clingy types' is at a premium, but she could at least center herself. I did tell her as much, but found I was being ignored. I could feel my Gorgon, who usually is right up against my right side with her face against mine. With the heightened sense of feeling, I could tell her chin was against my face--which meant she was looking upwards--

--at the slime. And growling.

So it seems, slime has claimed her 'territory', and is quite fervent at maintaining her hold on it. To the point there is an epic battle of attrition going on the side of me, with both parties aggressively insuring that boundaries are not being crossed.

Sigh.
