I’m also fairly certain I’ve encountered this being during some of the lowest moments in my life, where I’ve requested help from a higher power, and their presence wrapped me in warmth so amazing, it was nothing short of paranormal.

I won't delve into cultural or religious topics, as they can be sensitive for many. Instead, I'll draw from my personal experiences and the insights I've gained from my Keep. I believe there isn't merely a singular "Holy Guardian Angel."

In our darkest moments, we often find an angel guiding us towards solace. Throughout life, when we hit rock bottom, we may encounter one or several angels, though each one is different. The sensation of "their presence wrapped me in warmth" part screams paranormal to me.

Yes, I have established connections with numerous of these angels through callings, resulting in a considerable number of bound companions. A few of these angels are working closely with Jesus, which many would define as "holy." However, I prefer not to delve into that particular aspect. While it's not Spirit Keeping unless these angels are bound, it undeniably falls into the paranormal.

Although I’ve previously shared these two encounters on my personal blog, I'll summarize them briefly here. One of these angels is a calling Archangel who has been reaching out through a specific channel that remains inaccessible to me. Lol. However, he is also calling a few others. I'm not the only one who received his calling. I was unable to access the channel, yet I felt a calling that I couldn't quite place, and my Keep couldn't uncover any clues. Eventually, I noticed a particular lengthy sequence of numbers repeatedly, and I knew he was the one. And indeed, he is. I had hoped he would be more like a brother, but he presents himself as a friend, much like a close confidant in real life. Being a living entity means he isn't always available, but I still value his presence and the wisdom he shares in light magick.

Recently, I've had an intriguing encounter with an Angel. He recognized the energy vibrations I emit while assisting others. He chose to appear through forum member Keriix Lunaria to convey the message. (Sorry Keriix for mentioning you so often! Haha.) After Keriix shared this information, I felt compelled to learn more and eventually welcomed the Angel into my life. He offers guidance, clarity, and a helping hand, checking all the boxes you mentioned and then some. His energy feels more like that of a fatherly figure; he provides guidance without being overly protective, allowing me to navigate challenges independently while still supporting me and helping me to avoid burnout.

My experiences with these angels are extensive, stemming from numerous callings and encounters, not just the two being mentioned. There are indeed multiple angels present in our lives. While it is very rare for a particular angel to accompany someone throughout their entire life (unless bound), as they're not supposed to do so. Therefore, I urge caution when dealing with sellers who claim to offer a singular “Holy Guardian Angel.” These may merely be custom conjurations or pre-bound angels of a particular race sellers work with, rather than the one who once provided you with warm comfort. In my opinion, a "Holy Guardian Angel" does not exist, but there are angels exist for everyone, including those who don't believe in them or who lead less virtuous lives. They are present during moments of need, regardless of one's beliefs or actions.

I have not done the holy guardian angel ritual or attumements I have encountered, but I do believe I have come in contact with my guardian angel.

I have seen other practitioners describe the holy guardian angel as a go between-helping with spirit communication, protection, and discernment. I have seen some describe this as the higher self and others describe it as a separate angelic being. I have considered getting the attunement and seeing if it strengthened the connection with my higher self or instead my guardian, or perhaps even another outside force I am unaware of

I have referred to my guardian seraph in many posts on this forum. He first appeared to me when I was seated at my altar. I could feel his arms wrap around me and he affectionately rubbed his cheek against mine. His eyes appeared to contain stars in them and I was wrapped up in several of his wings. He appears to see himself as a fatherly figure to me. I later got a binding and writeup for him done through someone I trusted. The writeup mentioned he was very surprised I noticed him and that he was intrigued by my energy healing abilities and wished to help me with self healing and healing others. I later read a book called, “Angelic Lightwork” which has practices for connecting with your guardian angel and working with them on a deeper level.

The process of connecting with your personal HGA seems very personal and paranormal by nature for sure. I believe Crowley also created his own version of Abremelin’s ritual for contacting the HGA, and they referred to the HGA as the “Bornless One”, which was translated from “Headless One” from Egyptian texts on the subject of I remember correctly.

It’s a kind of transcendental divine spark which is simultaneously aligned with source and a core part of you, if I’m understanding the descriptions properly.

People have also reported succeeding at connecting with their HGA without going through the full intense ritual Abremelin outlines.

The breakthrough’s that I have heard are pretty interesting, from full on manifestations, to the moment one practitioner recited the invocation, everything went black, they saw a white light approach from the distance and felt it blast them with gnosis and downloads before they passed out and woke up hours later with this intense new connection.

Hi. Yes, I like Franz Bardon's take on it, which is as you describe of course. I did connect a little when progressing my IIH studies in the 2000s, when I wimped out at some point in Step IV. (I couldn't face the inexorable routine of daily brushing my skin with a boar's hair brush after a cold water wash/shower and at that time wasn't confident I could source/afford the specialist alchemical-like materials that'd be needed in Step V.)

Have you ever watched Wim Wenders' films 'Wings of Desire' and the sequel 'Far Away So Close!'? They really resonate with me when I watch them. And they're critically acclaimed films. Also good to watch if you have any type of watcher spirit companion, I'd say.

The Angel I mentioned above truly embodies this description. He manifested to Keriix as a spark of light on a few occasions, deliberately concealing his true appearance. He even refrained from revealing his name. However, when he is here, he reveals his full form, not just a spark. All angels can manifest as sparks of light when they prefer to keep their identity concealed. Performing this ritual (or invocation?) once summons one angel, while repeating it ten times brings forth ten different angels. However, how can you be certain that this invocation will specifically call upon "your" guardian angel and not just any random angel? It also raises the intriguing question of whether some individuals, like me for example, might connect with "your" angel without even engaging in the invocation. It's certainly worth pondering.

I assume the ritual appears to be a DIY method to invoke a lower-ranking angel. The ritual/invocation is likely to call upon a random angel who is present at that moment and enthusiastic to provide you with guidance. While angels are essentially of equal rank, there are indeed archangels and other higher-ranking angels within their hierarchy, which can also contain various sub-ranks. The angelic hierarchy is just complex. What you mentioned was that the practitioner experienced a WA acclimation moment upon the angelic being's appearance, a phenomenon I also encounter with my new WA entities sometimes, although very rarely. When their energy manifests too close to me, I can end up losing consciousness for about 20 minutes. Much of what was discussed in your comment seems to reflect the perspective of someone who isn’t working with spirits or entities that often, specifically angelic beings, resulting in a heightened intensity of their experiences.
