Hello,
Does anyone know anything about a nightmare horse shifter? I've told told one is calling to me, but I would like to find out more about them. Any ideas, experiences or suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you

I have a companion who possesses a shifting ability, often referred to as a shifter. However, this ability differs significantly from the descriptions provided by many sellers, so I won't delve into that, as it's quite a lengthy topic to explain. Essentially, this being mentioned is a horse spirit with shifting capability. This entity is of Dark Arts origin; the "nightmare" aspect arises from two reasons: they either work alongside justice to instigate nightmares for enemies or imparts nightmarish visions to conjurers upon their appearance. Thus, the interesting title “nightmare horse shifter” comes into play. Some sellers often create names based on a being's special abilities or distinctive traits. So, this is not a new race but a horse spirit.
If someone claims there is a calling, you should ask them to describe the being in question. This way, you can gain a clearer understanding of who's who based on their description and create a profile for your own interactions or conjurations. I have always refrained from allowing anyone, including conjurers, to dictate who is calling me. Even during times when I was blind and deaf when starting out, the calling was as unmistakable as daylight. Sometimes, those sellers who tried to tell you your callings could end up misleading you.

I agree with what Tarvos has said about someone else telling you a being is calling you.
For myself, I would especially not trust the person if it comes from a seller. We are quite capable of sensing callings on our own, so you should always be cautious when it comes from someone else telling you that.
