Just fun to share.
I’ve had this terrarium for a couple years now and I move it around and adjust things as I find them.
One of two spaces I have in my home, but its a nice routine having to turn on and off the light every day.
Forces me to stay mindful every morning and evening.
Altars can be really small if you wanted

Very nice!!!
I'm getting zen garden vibes.
Is that big tall stone cylinder in the corner and incense burner? Please say yes. You have all that dragon stuff in there, you HAVE to have something that produces smoke! That would be really cool!
Isn't it amazing how literally ANYTHING when done mindfully can be turned into a ritual. In the morning it helps set the tone for the day, and in the evening it helps you unwind from the day and put it behind you (no matter how stressful).
That's why a lot of people recommend either meditating or doing some sort of meditative exercise (yoga, tai chi, etc.) twice a day.
Thank you for sharing!!!

Why dip your toe in the water when you can do a cannonball?

What a fantastic idea! So cleverly organized too. Thank you for sharing this insight. Honestly, I never would have thought to transform a terrarium into an altar of sorts. Personally, I have a petite spot on my bookshelf that doubles as an altar. However, I also have a "mobile altar" that I use if I want to light a candle or perform a similar ritual. I am not quite ready to set my bookshelf ablaze, and I'm sure you understand that keeping flames near books is not the most prudent idea. Lol. I may borrow this idea. Lol.
Discovery lies in open hearts and minds, ignorance thrives in closed spaces.

I love that terrarium altar! I’ve made a few pocket shrines with blank altoid tins. I don’t have much room for an altar, and when I e tried to set up altars in the past they just end up being spots where people randomly put stuff despite knowing it’s an altar, so I figure it’s just easier to have these lol. I’ve got one to Aphrodite, one for Dionysos, one for Apollon, and one for St. Expedite.
Funnily enough, I got a gemstone snake for Asclepius but my Gorgon wanted that as her vessel So now it’s hers!

How awesome I found a fellow terrarium altar. I grow plants in mine. I have 2 terrariums. I keep my woodland elf in one and my garden fae and spriggans in the other. I will see if my new companion will like it there as well.
