nails heard on wood floor?

Hello,

I have one incubus spirit and another living entity incubus. I haven't heard a peep out of them. I know they are shape shifters.

In the middle of the night I heard nails walking on the floor. I couldn't tell if they were inside me room or outside my door. Having 2 dogs, I thought one of them had to go outside, so I opened the door and they were sound asleep on the couch/chair.

I closed my door and wen back to bed and it started again, but this time it felt slower and deliberate and I think I heard a faint sound at the door, like its nails hitting against it... I immediately shot up and opened the door and my dogs where just where they were.

I went back to bed again and the nails on the floor continued. I said in my head "whoever, you are please stop" and it immediately ceased. I asked them this morning if it was either of them, but I received no inklings. Do any of you think this is something they would do/sound like?

Did your bound companions directly deny being the source of the noise, or did you simply not get a clear response? Personally I'm of the mind about equally that it could have been them or possibly an unbound which was willing to respect your wishes not to be disturbed. As I understand UBI should generally manifest in a form you find pleasing at the moment. Whether that might include long nails or not is up to you. If you didn't get a clear response from your spirit companions then I would double check with them first. If they say it honestly wasn't them, then I'd check the unbound situation. Whatever it was, it is a positive sign that it at least listened to your request.

I'm of the thinking with Hitthuginn on this myself. If your Ubi's directly stated that it wasn't them, you might have another 'friend' around. It's a good sign that they listened to you and stopped, plus the fact that your Ubi's allowed them to be there in the first place. Might be time for a reading?

Absolutely not. That's not something they do. Also, Ubi are not shapeshifters. To clarify, when sellers claim these to be "shapeshifters," they mean that these entities can take on different forms, like all other spirits and entities. Regardless of the form they take, their energy remains that of an incubus, not a dragon, for example. This distinction is crucial, as it is not true shapeshifting. Shapeshifting is a unique ability not possessed by all beings, even if they can take on different forms. Sellers frequently misinterpret entities as "shapeshifters" to simplify the concept for buyers. However, this misleading terminology can distort your understanding of what shapeshifting truly entails. Hehe.

A significant red flag to watch for is that Ubi may have long fingernails but never toenails. Their toenails are typically too short to produce noise while walking. If you hear the distinct sound of nails tapping on the floor, it indicates that another entity is nearby, rather than your own Ubi. I think they are a creature, as creatures tend to have longer toenails than humanoid-looking beings. Some of these creatures are known to produce audible walking sounds, making them easily distinguishable from your Ubi.

Their manifestation serves as a friendly presence, making it clear that they are with you. They also respect your boundaries and cease their manifestations when you request it, something to genuinely appreciate, especially in the absence of any protective measures. Since they are not bound to you in any way, their willingness to heed your requests speaks volumes about their character.

If you can uncover their intentions or enlist a conjurer to examine your surroundings, you'll be able to identify their race. Then, you can choose whether or not to have them bound.

I agree with everything said by the other members here, its a great sign that your wishes were respected and I would definitely be doing a reading to investigate!

From my experience with an Ubi, whilst not protection specialists they are as mentioned alot quite protective of their bonds. One of the clearest audible manifestations I have heard to date in my journey was from my Ubi yelling "Get away from my home!" no context lol, can confirm they appear selective of who and what they tolerate in their space

Some spirits are specifically said by CH to produce these sounds. Duojnas & Werewolves for example.
