Experiences with Woodwoses/Wodewoses?

Genuine curiosity, are there any keepers here that have had any experiences with woodwose spirits?

I've been reading books concerning the folklore of The New Forest, initially I was wanting to find out more about the story of The Bisterne Dragon, as part of one version of the story says that the dragon eventually died just outside the village of Lyndhurst and its corpse became the hill now known as Boltons Bench (a place I like going to sit and draw in nice weather). While reading up I kept running into stories mentioning Woodwose so I figured I would ask you fine folks if any of you have any experience with keeping them and what they are like as companions.
