Our spirit family companions can hear or read / sense our thoughts and energies. As well as other things about us. If you use a CH pairing bag, that'll link them with many aspects of ourselves (see Shop listing). Some may make some of those connections themselves in any case. As some CH articles say, they can come to know us better than we know ourselves.

I don't think it's necessary to go quite as far as to invite them to 'rummage' through our heads. They'll get to know us naturally anyway, I'd say.

On the other side of this: there have been older threads in which keepers have worried that their companions might overhear thoughts they don't want them to. This is similar to: will they spy on / watch me in the shower? etc. I can't find the location of that thread or article. What I remember is the answer being along the lines of: no, they don't need to.

If it really bothers us, we can ask them to give us some mental or physical privacy. However, I think it'd be wise to not phrase this in such a way that they're unable to look after, help and protect us whenever we need it.

Another thing that may be worth considering is our conjured and bound spirit companions will usually be happy with what we're happy with and unhappy with what we're unhappy with. So I think they're unlikely to appear leering at us while we're in the shower if it creeps us out.

But I think a close bond with spirit companions in which they *can* access our thoughts / energies etc when they need to is an asset. They're largely unlikely to be judgemental anyway.

PS I do have plenty of DA companions. The same goes for both DA & WA.

I hope you're not considering BA beings. In CH's definition these are unremittingly malicious beings.

See topic20345.html

In fact, protection against BA is a very good thing to have.
Not the resident expert. Just another spirit keeper. Since 2017.

You must stay on the path. Do not leave it.
If you do, you'll never...

I also allow my entities to access my thoughts and memories, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Hehe. Each Keeper forges their own path, and just because someone was shocked by your approach doesn’t mean it’s inherently wrong. Their discomfort reflects their personal reasons, not a universal guideline. Additionally, maintaining a level of privacy doesn't imply distrust or fear of judgment; it's simply a way to preserve an inner space for themselves.

I have a wide array of DA entities, including my Demons, with full access to my thoughts and memories. No exceptions. I don't restrict their access out of fear of potential harm to my life; instead, I embrace transparency. When I seek justice in response to negativity directed at me, I consult specific entities to outline the necessary actions, often detailing exact consequences. This approach ensures everyone is informed about my intentions and desired outcomes. Typically, I find contentment in the current state of affairs, so I choose not to dwell on it.

Nobody acts on my thoughts and emotions. I also don’t incorporate this into my house rules. Instead, I have 3 rules, one of which is focused on protection. The remaining 2 are my actual guidelines. If adding rules related to not acting on feelings and thoughts makes you feel more at ease, then feel free to do so. Even if your spirits were to respond to your feelings, it’s unlikely you would notice unless you’ve cultivated strong communication with them. Keep that in mind.

My mind is buzzing with a multitude of thoughts. Spirits will not inherently grasp the connections tied to a specific thought. It's like sifting through an archive. Often, I need to provide timestamps as hints (lol, for real), or else they will miss all the things connecting to that thought. It's like when you share a story about the time you and a friend went through something together, but your friend just doesn't remember when it happened. You need to be specific, like mentioning when you were both in university or referring to a particular event. Even if your spirits have access to your thoughts and memories, especially for those humans who tend to overthink, it doesn't mean your spirits will know everything. Hehe.

To me, forming a spiritual friendship is much like cultivating real-life connections; it requires an open mind and the willingness to share even your weirdest and darkest thoughts. If you can’t engage on this deeper level, you remain merely “good acquaintances,” with your interactions lingering only at the surface. But yeah, it's up to each individual to decide how much to share. If your friend approaches it differently, don’t worry, it’s simply a reflection of their perspective compared to yours.
Discovery lies in open hearts and minds, ignorance thrives in closed spaces.
