I have a portal to her. and a few statues with a offering bowl full of spare change, and cigars tequilla. she surprisingly likes marshmallows. I find her very sweet and motherly. but i told her she cant replace my mom lol. but i still like her as a friend. I treat her as such. I dont ask much at all other than to be a friend maybe be there if i ever need protection i dont ask much of santa murette. I dont like the idea of having a debt to an immortal.

Not sure about Santa, but my dealings with Bastet so far show that their feelings on this matter are the opposite, lol. She seems to always make sure to do something that will make me feel indebted to her. To be honest, it's not a bad cycle to be stuck in--I mean, every viable relationship has a give and take to it. In this case its just a matter of maintaining the balance.

I don't find all immortals that like to make you feel indebted why I try to be friends with some. Santa murette has a very dark side if you wish or ask something big and if u don't pay back well the usual payment is ill or death to family. If you cross her. Why I don't play with Santa murette like that.

She has reached out to help me before once when I was in my teens, whilst having a bad sleep paralysis bout. Somehow she spoke to me and asked me to chant her name, and my sleep paralysis ended I did not know who she was until I saw her name here on CH just a few weeks ago. she still comes around me i have two figures of her...... a bowl i put spare change into it intfront of her a cigar she recently. i get the impression she wanted me to smoke it WITH HER instead she kinda went like u ruined a good cigar. lol. every single woman i talked to her that have intereacted with her to me tells me she comes in as a intimidating prenence. i dont get that from i got a very loving motherly. figure from her. just never ask her for too much

As someone who sees a lot of Santa muerte devotes in general as it is very common to see in my country Mexico. I m quite the opposite of all the people here and it is best to avoid this deity.

I had never seen a devote of santa muerte that has a good life overall. There is always some chaos in their life, a lot of death surrounding tahem ( seeing friends or close family members to die) , some do look as if something sucked their life or they have a good life , but they have a short life and die either by illness or by a horrible accident. Others, get crazy as in schizophrenic. Seeing shafows or something haunting you.It's a deity that, will always take something from your life.

There is some rare cases( like 3 or 4 people) that they do work with Santa muerte and have a good life and nothing I said before applies to them. But it's very rare, and I had only see this happen to advance magick practicioners. I m not sure what is the difference with them and normal devotess.

So unless you know your abilities, have a strong foundation and work actively with other deities. You may give it a shot, but beware that with this deity, everything has a price, even the " good" things you may want or the teaching.

And well, something to be mindful is that this deity has ties with narcos and criminals
