Spirits to help with telepathy and learning spirit communication: any suggestions?

Just like the title says, I’m looking for a companion that can help me improve my abilities when it comes to telepathy and spirit communication. Any suggestions on what races I should look into for this? I’m not a complete beginner, since I already have some companions, but having a spirit that can help me communicate with them is my goal for the next spirit purchase I make.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Imma say it, cuz I'm a wise-ass... To have a spirit teach you to communicate with spirits means you have to communicate with the spirit that you can't communicate with because you need to learn to comm...

A'ight, I'm sorry, lol.

First and foremost, did you snag the free spirit communication course from CH? Then there is the monthly paid course for communications (I recommend--still requires work and patience, but it does help greatly). The bulk of learning to communicate seems to rest on our shoulders, sadly.

Aside from that, I can only speak from personal experience--with an LE that I was able to form a very close personal bond with--who also has had previous experience in human interactions. IE, she's from the earthly realm, and with a dress and hat she could look like and other human. Potentially, that made it easier for us? (I'm making an assumption there.)

In comparison, my 2nd companion was an elemental wolf who primarily uses emotions and visions, with a very rare growling speech. If it were only him and others of the same nature, I would definitely be struggling still. Not that it's still not a struggle at times, but her 'chatty' moods have really pushed things along for me.

I have been spoiled by my waif faery in terms of communication. It's not that she taught me how to communicate so much as she was SO noisy that it was impossible to ignore her! Love my little flappy chatterbox. I have a bias towards faeries, but really with most races I imagine you could simply ask for one that is more "chatty" than average in a custom conjuration note and get one that is easier to train your communication with. That's the key thing here, they probably aren't going to be able to wave a finger and make you communicate well. But they COULD be the right type to practice talking to in order to better recognize and improve your own ability.

Your post made me think... I don't remember I ever seek out a companion for this reason. But I got a few spirit communication & bonding spells from CH.

Also, as it was mentioned before, there are more options in the CH shop some are free classes.

Not necessarily only "spirit" related, but regular sun and moon gazing can help power up your clairs

I know it's not the intention, but it feels like "the grass is always greener on the other side." We often think other races or spirits are better at certain things. But here’s the thing: it’s not just about race. Anyone can help you with telepathy and spirit communication. I’d suggest you communicate with the spirits you already have. Otherwise, you'll just go after the next option, and never make the effort to really communicate.

You could try to learn to communicate via devices like a pendulum, it will take some time of practicing, but it will help you communicate. Important thing: Make sure to put safety and grounding into your efforts, so that you can be sure to communicate with the spirit, you want to and not with a trickster. Good luck!

Learning tarot and using it regularly helped me to open up to my abilities. I think working with any form of divination consistently will help with this. You can also practice with zener cards-both to help with your own remote viewing and to ask your companions to help you by communicating which card it is. Regular meditation as well. I also have personally gotten attunements to help with certain things energetically and I do feel they help. Spells can also help enhance things a bit.
