Hi, I’m super new to Spirit Keeping and I have So many questions. I just got a Dragon of my own however I don’t seem to be able to communicate and I can’t see him do you have any advice???

I would recommend meditating with your new dragon friend. If you go on YouTube there’s meditations specifically to meet dragons and to connect with dragon energy. This can help to open your abilities and help to connect. Divination is also worth exploring. Maybe even a dragon themed oracle or tarot deck? Or a pendulum that you feel called to. You can even set the intention before bed to ask your dragon to appear in your dreams.

Definitely look around the forum for topics on communication. There are so many resources on ways to begin communicating with your companion.

Yes I do, as a matter of fact. First off, eliminate 'don't' and 'can't' from your vocabulary--those terms just close doors. You're learning, so it's a process starting from scratch, essentially.

Just relax, and try to be more aware. Don't expect anything, since you have no clue what's in store. Be open to anything subtle, odd, or out of place to start with--at anytime or anywhere, to be honest. Might be signs, might be odd feelings or emotions. Might be sounds at the fringes of your perception, or dreams that are tantalizingly fleeting. Your companion will determine the best course to take.

Dragons can be very subtle, or completely in your face. Personalities vary greatly, lol. Just be patient and open.

@Hazell & @mcm442 have made some very good points though I will add one thing, there is the CH encyclopaedia. It contains a veritable treasure trove of knowledge.

I found it incredibly useful when I started out as a spirit keeper along with a lot of other articles aimed at the newbie keeper. Heck, I still find it useful, I can easily spend hours reading the pages.

I'm a newbie too and what I do is I talk to them when either mentally out loud and show them things and pay attention to the first "thoughts" that come to my mind when I do that. They're also willing to answer as many yes/no questions you want with a pendulum c:
