My First Premonition

When I was 18 years old, I had my first premonition, I was with an old friend I had known her for a long time.

It started when I was visiting my friend when I got this awful gut feeling, right where the stomach is it was a feeling like a knot in the stomach area (Solar Plexus).
I knew a terrible car accident was going to happen, I didn’t know how I knew I just knew. I didn’t know who, I mentioned this to my friend.

A week later, this awful knot feeling had gotten stronger and I knew it was going to happen between our home town and the nearest major city (which is 450 km apart) I asked my friend if she knew anyone going to the city; she said “no, I don’t think so” I told her she needs to ask everyone she knows if they are planning on going to the city, she said she would.

A week later the awful knot feeling is getting stronger, I knew the car accident was going to be between a country town halfway to the city and our hometown. I asked my friend if anyone she knew is going to the city, she said “I’ve asked everyone, I don’t know anyone going to the city”.

A week later the feeling is getting even stronger, I knew the car accident was going to be on a weekend between either Friday, Saturday or Sunday I am feeling so nauseated from this awful feeling. On Thursday my mother informs me that she has decided to go to the country town halfway to the city she is leaving tomorrow on Friday, I didn’t know what to do, I felt I had to let her go. I pressed on her to be careful and to call me as soon as she got there and said goodbye to her like it was my last goodbye. I waited by that house phone stressed out, it was the longest 2 hours of my life, the phone rang she was safe n sound, the biggest sigh of relief exited my lungs. In the meantime, over the weekend, I was bugging my friend again are you sure you asked everyone, there is someone going to the city, same answer “No! I asked everyone, no-one is going to the city’. Sunday comes around, oh my gosh! My mother is coming back home oh the stress is through the roof; I had convinced myself it was my mother who was going to be in a car accident.

My mother arrives home safe n sound, I am so puzzled, the knotted feeling is so intense (no pain) just an intense nauseated with the knotted feeling. On Monday I knew the car accident was going to happen this weekend coming, again I am bugging my friend are you sure you asked everyone, I informed her when it is going to happen, I pressed her with urgency to make sure she asks everyone she knows.
A few days later again I asked my friend did you asked everyone, she said yes, no-one is going to the city, I am completely perplexed by the whole situation.

The weekend came I was glued to the news all weekend, Friday nothing, Saturday nothing, Sunday nothing on the news, although at 7pm this awful knotted and nauseated feelings dissipated like mist in the wind.
Instantly I thought Oh Non it’s happened!!!
Monday morning, I saw the news of an absolute horrific car accident the worst on historic record on our roads happened almost exactly halfway between the two country towns.

My friend called me later Monday talking about the accident, there was 4 people in the car, my friend knew all 4 people. Sadly, they all died in the most horrific ways someone could, it was a head on collision, the car was split in half between the front seats and the back seats, the other people in the other car had minor injuries, I won’t elaborate any further as it was truly awful.
There were two sisters in the car, they were the last two living children as they had lost an older sibling a couple years earlier, their mother had terminal cancer at the time, it was so heartbreaking.

I did not know any of the people in the car, I was still affected, and I was so distraught by it all, along with everyone else.

I had no knowledge of what was happening to me, there was no internet, there was no books available, and I had no-one to go to that was knowledgeable on the paranormal. This ability continued into my late 30’s, after realizing my father had abilities, I was talking to him about this ability to predict people’s deaths and how I detested it, kept asking why, if I can’t change anything, how do you approach and tell someone of their mortal timing?

My father in his words of wisdom said to me; “Don’t look at it that way! Look at it as a chance to say goodbye”. I learned to accept this ability and since then it seems to have stopped, well so far.

I both envy and don't envy you. All of my premonitions are never anything important!

All I get is waking up with a Marry Poppins song already in my head. Then get constant reminders of flamingos. Come home to find out that I'm now the proud owner of a flamingo umbrella. Great. Thanks. I love the thing though.

I don't think I could handle big premonitions anyway. I'd make myself sick with anxiety. Then be anxious about another thing eventually coming.

Sometimes, I have visions of the future. I experienced this long before I knew anything about the paranormal. I don’t have premonitions, and honestly, I’m not eager to have them. Knowing too much is not good at all. I understand how you feel.

I don’t believe your ability has stopped. It’s possible that blockages have influenced you. This particular event may have shut down your ability temporarily. Because abilities don’t just stop working. If you had any abilities in past lives, you can tap into them now too.

Your father is very wise. He is correct on many points. If you sense something may happen to others, it’s your chance to say goodbye. I don't think there's a better way to word it.

I work closely with the Universe. It’s often difficult to express these concepts. Some things are too sensitive to share, especially when related to life and death. If you do speak about them, it'll negatively impact your life on many channels.

There are fine lines between what can and cannot be shared with others. It’s important to know which information is appropriate to discuss. With that understanding, you can guide others on their path.

I believe your ability may connect to your past lives. It could be worth exploring. This temporary halt in your ability might even be beneficial to you, to be honest. You may prefer it to stay that way for this lifetime.

You are right in that this particular experience did block most of my abilities, I placed the block their myself deliberately just after this particular event. The abilities do come through occasionally, although they stop just as quick as they start. Along with everything else that has happened in my life has barricaded the blockage.

I didn't know what I was doing, all I knew is I wanted to be normal and didn't want people to look at me as a freak anymore. By God! I regret doing that to this day, I lost a lot of myself that day and haven't felt complete since, sometimes I feel soulless (I say this as I would not like anyone to do what I did as it's the worst thing to do).

On a happier note, my Liberation Orb had been completed and activated, already feeling better, lighter, and can feel the blockages slowly, very slowly starting to release or loosen is probably a better terminology.

Going back to this particular premonition, approximately 30 years later, my dear dear friend confessed to me that she never asked anyone if they were going to the city, because she didn't believe me.
A huge vocal sigh exited my lungs almost sounding like a wailing of loss, when she told me.
At that moment I realized she has been suffering with this for a very long time, I am not angry at her at all, my heart goes out for her as this would have been a huge burden to carry.

With this premonition it was different to the others, this one was suppose to be prevented. I was driven and the warnings was so intense.

The other premonitions I had a knowing I was not to interfere, there was a resistance rather than a push like the first one. Although as a human with this knowledge, you/I still have the urge to want to save everyone and at the same time knowing that is impossible to do.

I do hope your blockages clear up! Not to sound like a salesman, I noticed that your keep got two more members since last I saw! So I'd like to recommend a Sin Eater! I've felt so much lighter since I've been working with mine. My own blockages are coming down, I'm suddenly getting things I want easily and a lot less things bother me. I'm able to wave and laugh things off more. I got mine from Mystic Morning Treasures.

What happened wasn’t even big, it was just more graphic and its impact has had on you for many decades. You may not fully understand this ability or what it could mean if it returns. Just remember that this is just one event, and its effects can last a very long time. Are you ready to deal with the effects of all coming premonitions?

I feel for your friend, dealing with guilt. However, it could also be something that ultimately saved you. I’ll explain soon.

Nope. This specific event was meant to remain unspoken. And you can't share it with anyone. You need to trust me on that.

It’s crucial to know which ones you can share with others and which you cannot. I say this with good intentions, don't get me wrong here. I want to protect you from unintentional harm. Because this is the case for so many practitioners. But you feel like your particular situation is “different" because you knew about a car accident and wanted to prevent it. “That push" is very dangerous.

Guiding others is possible, but I’m not the same as you. I don’t have “that urge” because I follow the Universe’s principles. Sharing certain things when you're not supposed to share will affect your life negatively on many channels. And in some cases, it can bring an end to one's life, depending on the frequency of all the cases adding up.

I’m not trying to scare you. I just want to warn you and perhaps others who have this ability. Knowledge comes with responsibility. It’s essential to manage that knowledge wisely.

I'm sorry for the discomfort that you've had with those premonitions. These things have a very real mental toll that we should always be mindful of. I hope you have looked after yourself well with consideration to this fact. I've experienced premonitions of fatal incidents as well, and it's something I have struggled to appropriately navigate. I've had premonitions of events that have come to pass, and others of events that may yet play out. One thing that was advised was therapy, because it is hard to go through these sorts of things without feeling some sort of "survivor's guilt". I am blessed with an understanding therapist who is able to work with my own quirks and fears in a non-judgemental manner.
