Yes, the way I look at it, there are chakras and nadi pretty much everywhere in the body and aura. It's not much different from saying there's vital energy in every part of the body.
In traditional chinese medicine there are hundreds or thousands of acu points all over the body. (I haven't counted them all.) In the Indian chakra approach we mainly only hear about the few major chakras considered most important to New Age theory. But there are many prana nadi, as well as chi meridians, and many many chakras, just as there are many chi points.
It can be special to discover a meaningful 'new' chakra for oneself but on the other hand, once we realise there aren't only a few chakras, it shouldn't come as a surprise. It doesn't make someone different or special to have a chakra here or there. We've all got them just about everywhere.
What's more important is how we work with them.
