Hello! If it’s okay to ask, i’d like to see if I can get some advice from fellow CH members about this.

I’m usually a person that lucid dreams often (recently less often though), and I’ve gotten some lucid dreaming spells, one from CH, because i want to be able to induce more lucid dreams and have them be more vivid, plus help with my lucid dream control. recently i usually become lucid but the dreams are very hard to control even though i am lucid. i have a spell to bring lucid dreams from CH, and i noticed that every time i wear it throughout the day and to sleep, my dreams are extremely random, more vivid, and i can remember the dreams better (the dreams also feel longer) but they are not lucid. i wonder why this could be, and what i can do to make them lucid, since the spell is supposed to bring lucid dreams? i just find it interesting that they are everything but lucid when i wear it. maybe i am still getting used to the spell (even though i’ve been wearing and interacting with it for a while). :)

Following as I'm interested in lucid dreaming which I want to experience. I'm not sure but I think you can use LD as a stepping stone for astral travel.

@Whyme yes!! and that’s one reason why i want to control my lucid dreams better because i’ve been trying to enter the astral plane through them (i have yet to astral travel yet but i believe in myself, haha).

Lucid dreaming is a skillset all on its own that needs to be cultivated through practice--not going to happen overnight (pun intended).

To be honest, what you've stated sure sounds like your making progress. Do a touch of research to learn 'environmental checking' and such to help things along. Importantly, don't try to force it!

Also of note, as was stated above, lucid dreams can be an easy stepping stone into astral. So easy, for the most part, you won't know the difference in the beginning--other than you WON'T be able to control anything outside of yourself. IE, It is possible you may skip fully lucid dreaming altogether and just jump to the astral and not realize it.

Talking about lucid dreams itself - not astral travelling in them - I find that when I'm well relaxed and clear (by that I mean for example after I've done a few things to cleanse myself psychically and mentally / emotionally) that's when I'm most able to receive positive influences, be it a vision-like visit from a spirit companion or the subtle influence of magic.

'Clear' in this sense I think can be seen as the opposite of blocked.

There's a good reason why CH (and no doubt others) advocate that when conjuring we should be at our best, physically, mentally, energetically etc. When we're not afflicted by plaguing energies, tired, upset etc then there's nothing to divert our awareness off course.

Of course, it may be best to discover more about ourselves...what sort of actions, or methods put us most effectively into our best state, eg for being free to safely dream lucidly. Might be with taking notes and looking for patterns.

We vary so what another does may not work so well for us. On the other hand, common tips may actually click for many of us.

Also have you seen the CH tips on how to get the best from their spell bindings? If not, check out the Shop Resource Centre at the bottom of every page.

eg https://shop.creepyhollows.com/working- ... agick.html
and
https://shop.creepyhollows.com/spell-ma ... nners.html

The first 2 paragraphs of the second article are fundamental, ie of key importance. Especially the bit about summoning and tasking a CH spell. After summoning the spell, CH posts/articles/books I've read talk about allowing the spell to wash over you or/and flow through you. Then it applies itself to what endeavours they can assist you with. Or/then you can task it.

Could you share the spell with me? I might be able to help identify what it does. Some spells mention lucid dreaming, but they can have various focuses that lead to that state. They may not necessarily address the kind of "control" you're aiming for in your dreams, so you might want to explore a completely different spell altogether.

Every time you drift off to sleep, you’re tapping into the astral plane, even if you’re not aware of it. I agree with mcm442, lucid dreaming is an advanced skill. You won't become a master of it overnight or simply by relying on one spell. It takes practice to reach a level where lucid dreaming feels effortless. If you're just starting out, you're already ahead of the game! Keep at it!

@Alaric Im using the Spell to bring lucid dreams. i know there’s a spell that’s called dream control : see what you need to see, but i’m just looking for a spell to help me control my dreams better in general. I’ve been a natural lucid dreamer for a long time actually. what i struggle with is controlling them recently, they are usually extremely chaotic and even though i’m lucid in them, nothing goes my way haha. and it’s because recently i haven’t been lucid dreaming as much as i used to in the past.

Probably should have said this sooner, lol, seeing as how you mention you 'were' better and that's changed. I'll refer the obvious--having spirit companions DOES take control away from you as they seek to show/reveal things to you. Not that it's a bad thing--in fact I recommend letting them take the wheel as often as you're willing. Dreams become fun and full of knowledge with them guiding you.

And yes, at times they can be extremely chaotic, especially when there is a dozen or more spirits all wanting to take a crack at the controls, lol.
