Good to see no one's debating about this . Because let's be clear, I was sharing MY OWN PERSONAL way of doing things and what I'VE experienced.

Hey @Adair, thanks for asking! When I say 'the Divine,' I'm talking about the big-league Immortal Gods and Goddesses, and also other Immortals like archangels.

For me, 'Divine' doesn't necessarily equal any specific religion. Personally, I feel most connected to the primordials, like, I am totally inspired by my few Goddesses in this regard. So far, they're the ones I've been able to recognize on my path including my primordial ancestor Z.

I try to keep my religion separate here, even though my God is a divine being. But yeah, I don't want to mix religious stuff with these primordial beings that inspire me. In church and religious settings, we definitely don't talk about things this way.

Being 'favoured by the divine' is just my way of putting two and two together about myself. It's about understanding the feedback I get on who I am and where I fit in the whole cosmic picture, you know, with all the different realms and origins.

Of course, my religious background also plays a part in how I understand things as a human and on a soul level. Hope that makes sense! I'm still figuring out all the layers, but ultimately, it's all fits together and forms the circle of my life.

I think anyone here is all favored by "the Divine" in your meaning, having calling from immortals and archangels, etc. It can mean different things to different people. I also have a being in my life who isn’t immortal but is much older than the primordial immortals (predating the Grecian). This being receives the same respect that older immortals would give to someone immortal of their age, and I don’t think that makes them “less Divine” at all.

When you mention “the Divine,” many people think of “religious devotion,” especially if faith is important to them. Others might interpret it as “a path guided by higher power,” or “the Universe,” etc. So, not everyone will interpret your meaning the same way. If you're referring specifically to your Immortals and Archangels as in “the Divine,” it might be clearer to say so directly.

For me, “the Divine” represents the Universe. It encompasses so much more than just immortals and archangels. There is higher power beyond these beings. I'm explaining from a different perspective here, not really debating about anything.

My own feelings of "the Divine" and how I work within my own Divine path are shared with that of Tarvos' view. Definitely not debating anything as he said, just sharing our different beliefs and wanting to understand Astraea's ones more, so I know what she means when referring to this.
