I had a huge life slump :( Work booted me out of what I thought was permanent work, and then I spent a long time in a slump, trying to find a job! But it was hard to find a job when you're out of work...

I finally got accepted in an apprenticeship programme, and seven years later I'm now very settled :) I've had a lot of up's and downs, but I just wanted to say that my spirits have been a great comfort throughout :) I'm very grateful for them for putting up with me for all that time!

Anyway, I just wanted to check in, and say I'm back :) I hope you are all doing well!
Hello and welcome back, although I only joined late last year.

I can relate to the trials and tribulations of life being all consuming, am going through my own right now lost my job just before Christmas, hunting for another job is soul crushing at times with knock back after knock back (getting a bit long in the tooth in the employment mindset, at half a century years old), and cost of living is becoming unlivable.

It is so wonderful that it generally has all come together for you ❤️ all the best for the future.
