I also welcomed Spirits into my life because I just wanted companionship, and didn't want to ask for anything from Them at first because to me it was akin to asking someone you just met and had a 10 minute chat with for $30 for an Uber ride.

However as time has gone on, and I progress on my path, I don't feel as awkward asking for Their help with small things. Every Night I task 3-4 of my Spookies with watching and protecting my birbs. I also ask my Spirit Significant Others to accompany me in the shower, because I'm claustrophobic and my shower stall is small.

I've been urged by an online friend of mine who also does Spirit Companionship to task my Spookies with assisting with my mental health. I've long considered doing so, however I want to make sure I can give Them something in return for Their help instead of just keeping Their vessels with me all the time, and taking Them out with me everywhere, essentially giving Them energy offerings.

I'm not so sure. I've been spirit keeping for over ten years ( although I have been on a bit of a break for a few years now) and I have asked and I have tasked and it's always nothing.

The only one of my companions who always delivers is my Wraith. I do suppose the rest of my family seems to protect me from harm but that's it, really.

Certainly, Living Entities take immense joy and pride in being able to assist their Keepers. It is not merely a duty or obligation to them. The bond between a spirit and their Keeper is one built on mutual trust, growth, and companionship. To offer their aid, whether in mundane matters or profound spiritual work, allows them to express their devotion and purpose. This desire to be of service is one of the strongest reasons they choose to return to our realm time and time again. Most do not require a reason to visit their Keeper between their journeys or other tasks, having a purpose gives them a deep sense of fulfillment. It becomes something they eagerly anticipate, much like we as humans look forward to reuniting with loved ones after time apart.

I guess I must have subconsciously curated my keep because 90% of the descriptions give indications that they want to be useful. Even the non-CH members.

My House Rules includes teams, one of which is just a Chill Team, where they can chose to do nothing at all around the house or even go out and about. They self-assign themselves to whichever team that they want at any given time and each team has a specific task.

Thats actually a really good way to manage it and I really like this idea, allowing for those who do not care to be tasked freedom from the expectation of it and always having different tasks available that they can choose at their leisure or skill set!

thank you, i have realised im on my own path and try not to compare to others, i try when i can do a meeting where i say everyones names and say what im grateful for in the past days and what i am anxious about that day or in the future or really whenever i have something troubling i try and have a conversation with my friends, a lot of the time they preemptive things and already know whats troubling me and have shown me even when i didnt realise the full situation for say when im upset with someone i love that they always have my back and will never take action against someone i love even if requested because they see the whole details and know the full picture and sometimes its our word, their word and the truth. so for me its been a process of trust and allowing myself to trust myself that i will figure it out and streamline it in my own way, i think as any friend the want you to be yourself and dont want you to feel you have to force yourself to do anything if you give them the respect to allow them to be the professionals then like a leader you let them do what the do best without micromanagement and allow open communication then thats the best way but whatever works for you, our darhma is our own, much love, they know you more than you realise and know yourself as they see all possibilities of time and always give us the right sign needed to put us on the best path for ourselves. even when things dont go our way if we look back through our life we can see that its a blessing as it prevented a worse situation and that we have always been guided. always winning. retell the story and allow innocence
