I Have A Master Vessel But...

I don't know which of my vessels do what.
All I know that my room has nearly all of them I have a notepad document of their spell names and a lot of my vessels are duplicate stones for different spells (example: 2 aura quartzes for two different spells) so could I still copy a spell into my master vessel if I say the name of the spell and have the Master Vessel near my bag of random stuff and hope one of them jumps into my master vessel?
I don't want ALL of the spells in my master vessel, just the protections ones only.

Best bet is to use a transmute bag from CH to move bindings one by one onto vessels you recognize. You can throw multiple you're unsure of in with an empty object and ask to only move spell x to the new vessel. Let this be a lesson to document your purchases, and save pictures of them!

Yes that's what I did in the beginning. Lump all of the vessels along with the master vessel together and recite the spell. Specifically mention only your protection spells.

The best advice I can give is read the instructions that came with your master vessel very carefully.

Disclaimer: Any attempt by me to paraphrase what the instructions say is very likely not as clear and may be wrong, even if I'm careful.

Having said that, one issue if I remember correctly is the arts by which a spell or spirit bound vessel has been created. So if your vessels are a mixture of WA, DA & NA, you'll need to bear that in mind.

I expect it could be easier to copy everything onto the MV , doing the invocation and codewords for each art, one after the other, than to remember which art each vessel was created by.

I'm pretty sure that 99% of my protection vessels are neutral art ones.

I agree with Alaric, in this case the best way to go about things is to move/copy EVERYTHING to your master vessel, then move off what you don't want on it. It means you're doing a lot of moving twice, yes. But it's the only way to truly be sure that you have covered all of your spell bindings.

And afterwards, TAKE PICTURES OF WHAT OBJECT EVERYTHING IS ON AND NOTE IT, as I have said!
