Servitor stories?

I see quite a few stories around the forums about spirits and LEs, but I don’t feel like I see too many about servitors. I'd love to hear about others experiences with them!

For the longest time, I avoided servitors, and stuck only with Spirits and LEs. Now I have a few servitors and am surprised at just how much they add to my experiences and my spirits' as well!

One of mine is a Lucario servitor. He is a sentient servitor, so he can learn and grow. His one and only main task is to transmute negative energy, and he does that quite well! For a Lucario, he's quite a silly servitor who's smile and tail wags alone are enough to brighten the mood. He can communicate with words, but rarely does. Instead, he has a cute gibberish that he communicates with as well as gestures. When I call on him, I often get mental images of him padding around the area, gently transmuting the energy of the room, and spreading positivity wherever he goes. He'll follow anyone feeling down, and soon enough I notice that person start to feel better and talk more. By the end of his task, the room feels lighter and it seems those around me respond to his efforts too.

I'm pretty sure there are older threads about servitors but it may take some searching to find them.

I have about 50 sentient Servitors from Eclipse Metaphysical before they ceased trading. I think of them as absolute masters of their trade craft. It was a development of psionics. They had so many abilities their sentient servitors could be given, called Guardians, on top of the basics, which included protection.

I got them before I had heard of spirit keeping. For around 4 years they, plus some unbound spirits, were my companions. After I discovered spirit keeping I was impressed by how like spirit keeping it was to have these sentient Guardians. The difference could be felt energetically and in their personalities but it was very similar. My Leprechaun servitor probably had astral/magical qualities of real Leprechauns factored into his creation and behaved very like my spirit companion Leprechauns do. I can however distinguish the difference in energy.

The EM Guardians' personalities are remarkable and very lifelike. As I have 50 I won't start describing them all.

EM Guardians are said to be able to attain true sentience and independence in the fullness of time. Unlike spirits, if commanded by their owner, they must obey. So don't command them to do yourself harm. If not interfered with by their owner a Guardian will protect their owner even against spirit companions. They're always active but not in your face.

A drawback of the programming is they won't hear you if you're more than 100 feet from their vessel. But a communication platform tool creates temporary communication vessels to take with you that get beyond that.

They really made a difference in my life and were a perfect stepping stone on the way to me becoming a spirit keeper.

My second servitor's arrival was an experience. She was touted as a 'God's Eye' servitor and on par with an immortal. Yeah, don't ever trust descriptions as 'selling points'. But, it seems she was given a pep talk before she headed on over to me.

"Go forth, and be the Goddess you were created to be!"

She hit like a sledgehammer of energies, shoving everyone else aside and slamming me with her bonding. She was actually pushing my first servitor, one who was to develop into a familiar, to her limits, (the first one was tasked with working with my energy flows, and 'trying' to teach me how in the process). It was actually quite impressive, but I wasn't going to let this attitude continue. She got a bit of a scolding--she may have been created to be a 'goddess', but this was day one of her existence, and she had a LOT of learning to do before even considering that. I have some companions that have been around for 33,000 years, and her actions were a touch... rude.

I felt a little bad. She went from 'I am omnipotent' to fully subservient and apologetically working with a trickle of energy. I did make it up to her by walking around and holding her hand. Heh, that was a weird feeling, because I actually felt her hand in mine--but it did perk her back up.

All was for the best though. She's been learning, and has even attended some classes--she is sentient, souled, and really doesn't have any limits. She's even changed to working with Divine energies.

Um, in fact, she is Mommy servitor now.

I even think I need to stop calling her a servitor--she really is her own entity at this point. Becoming a goddess? Time will tell...
