I have an ifrit djinn that i had astral travel with then she stopped because last time i got scared.

With your djinn companion I know you mentioned you got scared when you were astral traveling. It’s possible she hasn’t attempted again because she wanted to give you time to feel more comfortable with it. When one of my companions helped me out of body a while back he was saying “you need to trust me” I think there was some hesitancy, so it didn’t work that time. It worked later after I got closer and developed that trust (we were already in a good place, but there’s always more opportunities to bond.)

For a protective companion it sounds like you’re already comfortable with the archangels, so a Courtwind angel might be a good fit for you. Volkhs can also be protective and cleansing.

I do want to say that tricksters can be very convincing. It’s also possible some messages were real and from them, and others were the board being “hijacked” by tricksters.

Oh no, not the dreaded ouija. I have two but they have been a waste of time for me. I also don't trust the ouija based on experiences. I think that its mostly astral rubbish comes through. The don't give any information that has any use so I don't bother. Sorry you are having such a bad time. I hope everything is okay with you.
