Hello! thank you so much for offering this to the community! you've just opened up so many doors for people who didnt have access to something like this before! If you have the time, I would also like to request a reading.
I recently received a journal from my mother (For context, she works at a thrift store, and she got it there. She was not supportive of my losing my faith in Christianity, or conversion to more pagan/wiccan traditions.) It had the law of three and the wiccan rede written on pen in the front cover. It also had some runes.
The question I would like you to ask is if this is the sign I asked for, and what it means for my path.
If at all possible could you also tell me the message of the runes on the cover? The runes (from left to right) are, Naudiz, what looks like a combination of Eihwaz and algiz, with eihwaz on top, but the algiz is upside down , and thurisaz at the end.
with what I googled about algiz, the fact that it is upsidown kinda scares me. I do believe that the universe sent me this journal, and that the runes are a message. I might be wrong but I wont know until I know what they say. please help if you are able!

Hello there! I am no longer offering free readings in this thread as I have now become a seller, but I could share my interpretations on the meaning of those specific runes combined.吸血鬼 wrote: Wed Mar 18, 2026 4:22 pm Hello! thank you so much for offering this to the community! you've just opened up so many doors for people who didnt have access to something like this before! Those runes send a pretty dire message, as I would interpret them. Inverted algiz speaks to a lack of safety, nauthiz to desperation, eihwaz to death, and thurisaz with a need to act. However, it is possible for runes to be written inverted in a sigil WITHOUT their implications being reversed. That all depends on the intent that was put in by the creator when the bindrune was made. Thus, it could also be possible that this combination of runes represents a spell of striking back against danger to protect your own safety. On the cover of a book, I'd view that interpretation as more likely.
If you have further questions about specific rune combinations, feel free to make a thread in the appropriate section of the forums and I'd be happy to discuss in more detail.

Thank you SO much! that helps a lot! I am still slightly concerned as recent events and the appearance of the book don't have the best timing, but my research also said the possibility of the original owner of the book using said runes as a sort of lock. i have accepted that the true meaning of the runes may remain a mystery, as I have no way to find its previous owner. I think I'm going to try praying that I run into that person. its a small world after all
