He didn't come from CH. I found him at a second hand store, literally. So he's more of a rescue. I made a post about it on here. I don't remember where, but you can find it somewhere.

CH does offer a different Goblin race though.

You could possibly ask for a Dark Arts Custom Conjure for when you can't find what you're looking for and put in Montane Cloud Forest Goblin.

I've had interactions with others. I'm sure they have an actual name for the species, but they've accepted the use of their habitat as the name for now. They're all for becoming companions too. Even asked me to talk about them more. So perfect!

Your goblin did a very good job. What treats for rewards (if any) do you give him when the task is completed?

He keeps requesting Bourbon, but I don't drink and I live with people who also don't drink, so...

He's quite happy with more time with a candle.

I just light it with the intent that he'll get his Bourbon and whatever else he wants in his own realm.

That makes it tough when you don't drink but I'd assume he knew that when you met. Maybe he means more bourbon for him and none for you, lol. My djinn like candles too and they like specific colours but they accept whatever candle I do light. Yep, they can get whatever they want in their own realm but I think it means more if you get it for them. They can even duplicate what they find in stores. I'm not sure if your goblin can do that.

Just a thought, where you are do they sell alcohol minis? They are little bottles containing about 50ml of any given alcoholic beverage. As you don't drink and would not buy a regular bottle for yourself, then maybe your goblin friend might appreciate having one of those tiny bottles all to himself as a gift.

I've never bothered much with tasking, they'll do what they think is best, with the basic rules in place of course. I've started to actually try and find things they could do beyond the broad roles like protecting me, protecting the house, etc.

My Goblin is the main protector of the house, everyone and everything that's in my property. He does his job very well and is often able to take naps in my closet when I'm around since my Black Dog will do perimeter checks. Any issues and he'll spring into action.

Then I decided to add something on. We got neighbors that, ordinarily, are just fine. I don't care if the smoke and play music during the day... During the day.

You can see where this is going.

It's fairly often that they would smoke and play their music so loud that it would vibrate the house well past midnight. No. That's where I draw the line. I hate the smell even during the day, but at night I'm trying to sleep and it's stabbing me in the nose.

Sooo, I asked my Goblin to do something about it. Don't be biting anyone's legs or push them down the stairs. Just please make it stop then leave them be. He can be as annoying as he wants, just no harm done is the rule.

.... It hasn't happened at all this year. Not even during the day.

Can't even say, oh but it's winter, cause it didn't stop them before. I still see them sitting outside during the day and even hear their music but it's set so low.

I have no idea what my Goblin did. Whenever I inquire about it I see a vision of him and one of my neighbors standing by a speaker, neighbor switches it on, Goblin switches it off. It goes on over and over. *Click* *click* *Click* *click*

They're hilarious. I've asked mine too see if there are openings in my house so she can track them and also asked her to sometimes track . I made her a bag that can spawn any item she wants from jewels and etc.

Only if I were you, for the many good nights' rests he assured, I would have gotten him his Bourbon. That would it have been worth for me. Even if it's the big bottle, it could be given to him in shot glasses.
But that's only me personally. I understand there might be circumstances that prevent people from or make them unwilling to buy alcohol for all different kind of reasons.
