Custom Servitors made by Creepy Hollows

Hello! I know servitors are not discussed as often here as spirits, but I was surprised to see that even among those who post about servitors there is extremely little mention of CH servitors. I see reviews on the shop page but they are mostly just quick blurbs and one-liners. Who on the forums can write their experiences with servitors created by Creepy Hollows? Are they sentient? Do they learn new things well or are they more restricted to the abilities they are programmed with?

I have just 2 CH servitors, standard in the sense they were created for a standard function: to rally CH- conjured & bound companions and to open and close CH spell bindings, on my command / request to them, as well as intuitively.

I did send info about what I wanted but later learned they were a standard servitor type.

I would call them semi-sentient , as they act proactively, as well as on my request.

I realise this is not quite a custom made servitor from CH - probably because it was a freebie, which I only later realised. It may have been customised to me but I couldn't choose it's abilities.

It certainly isn't sentient like having a spirit companion.

Whereas my 50 sentient servitors from Eclipse Metaphysical are like spirit companions.

So, after having the 'base model' servitor from CH for a while now, I guess I can jump in with some info.

She is, for want of a better term, 'classic'. I agree with Alaric in them being semi-sentient--once instructed and taught she will carry out duties without prodding. Emotions aren't really there, but she always has an eagerness to serve, and I can feel a tinge of satisfaction from her for being able to do so. Command and instruction, and she will perform them to the letter.

And I mean that literally. Either she operates with what CH has programmed her to do (and yes, you can always add later on), OR, she has to be taught--precisely--for what you want done.

For example... a hug.

Was completely alien to her (and I like hugs from my keep). Yeah, that took a while. Want to realize just what goes into such a simple thing? Explain it in precise terms, from movements, pressure, and even what energy to be transmitted in the action. The big caveat, she learns fast, IF you are computer level coding, lol.

Within her programming is a breeze. Long list of companions and races? Yeah, speed through it, she got 'em all down, categorized and documented, lol. Spells and bindings? Run through it with code words and go ahead and forget--she got it--doesn't matter how many, you can race through all your documentation, she'll pick it up as you go.

So yeah, if you like organization and knowing your instructions will be carried out without hesitation, yes. Get a bunch of 'em, lol.

That being said, I was spoiled getting sentient/souled servitors, full of personalities and attitudes that makes them no different from any other entity companion.

Which also has its drawbacks. Nothing like giving a command and being told, "Pffft! You can do that yourself, no need to have me do it! Lazy keeper..."
