The Shali are a species who share both Elf-like and Faery-like characteristics; pointed ears, ethereal beauty, and most have feathered wings. The Shali are upright bipeds who stand between 3′-4′ in height. Their physical characteristics can vary greatly based on the time period during the existence of Shali on Earth. Their hair, eye, skin, and feathered wing colors varies by geographic location and time period.

Some Shali have wings instead of arms and used their nimble and agile feet like hands. Wingless Shali have long and slender arms, are ambidextrous and capable of using both their hands and feet with great efficiency. There are some Shali who have both arms and wings, they are also ambidextrous. The arctic Shali were sometimes larger than 4′ in height and they were pure-white from head to toe making them glittering with winter beauty but also capable of being completely hidden when they desired. They are communal by nature and lived in large colonies in prehistoric Earth. They would have colonies of upwards of a few hundred in an area. They are strikingly beautiful beings whose ethereal charm is captivating.
