Upon bringing your spirit companion home, spending time with them should be of first importance. Include them in your life; talk to them, share the things that happen in your life with them, and confide in them as you would any loyal friend. It is a simply an act of bonding, therefore you need do nothing outlandish nor change your life around to enjoy the company of your spirit companion.
Spirits and Bindings performed by Creepy Hollows do not require any special rituals or invocations whatsoever to welcome a spirit into your home.
Alternatively, if your spirit companion was conjured by someone other than Creepy Hollows, we recommend asking them if they have special bonding requirements.
How Do You Bond With A Spirit?
Bonding with a spirit companion is not at all difficult. Building a meaningful relationship with your spirit is the same as doing so with a person – by including them in your life, talking with them, sharing with them, confiding in them, trusting in them, and treating them with respect. Although not required, by making offerings and doing things they like (a.k.a. Associations), you can supplement your goodwill to elevate the bonding. How Can I Tell What Class Level Of My Spirit, Even If Not From CH?
The most accurate method of determining the Class Level of non-CH spirit companions is with the Creepy Hollows Class Rating Scale using a set of our calibrating stones, which allows you a comparison between the energy of the stone to the spirit in your keep.
What If I Don’t Feel Anything From My Spirits?
If you don’t feel your spirits presence, don’t lose hope. Connecting with a spirit sometimes happens quickly, and sometimes it happens more slowly. Each spirit is unique, and each works at their own pace. The best thing you can do is stay the course; remain positive, consistent, focused, and dedicated.
The ideal way to communicate with a spirit is through telepathy (thought) because the interaction is clear and immediate once it occurs. Once your spirit companion starts communicating with you, future communications occur more easily and quicker.

When treated with respect and properly asked, many spirit companions are quite willing to perform tasks for you as well as a friend or loved one. Because they care about you, they are eager to help you any way they may – including doing things for people other than you just because you asked it of them. Asking your spirit companion before offering their assistance to others is key.
How Do I Know If My Spirit Wants To Be With A New Keeper?
Spirits usually do not want to be re-homed for the reason that they chose to be with you. However, there are times when spirits are with you only for a season; for a purpose of fulfilling something to assist you. A spirit should be unbound by the original conjurer rather than be re-homed without knowing if they want to be with another person.
